Dragon Pink

Both are old school hentai with lots of comedy and in a fantasy setting with lots of battles, one comedy element is about how the main protagonist is a jerk and the dubious things that he does, with this I'm saying the protagonists are also a parallel between the two, the animation from both is what you'll expect from hentai of this time, pretty great actually, it's OVA so of course old ones have more budget than TV anime, the female protagonist is also alike, with pink hair and practically a slave of the protagonists. Both are sword and sorcery parodies using the same comedic formula: lecherous asshole MC, pink haired under clad and over abused slave girl, raunchy quests. They were released same year within a few weeks. Both are tagged hentai, but with a little leniency could pass as ecchi. Main differences: Dragon pink is somewhat more explicit (shows actual penetration, Rance does not), the adventurer party has more members, the characters are less developed, and production values (animation in particular) are inferior. In a nutshell, Dragon Pink is the uglier and dumber twin sibling of Rance, separated at birth. 

Both is based in a game´s hero, Both have a level up Both have a magical girl and a swordman. Both have a rude and sadic starring. Perhaps the size of group is the biggest diference, Dragon Pink has four members and Rance only Two.
