Gives a similar feeling as the main cast are wanted through the series of the anime. Some other similar things: *One old guy as a main character. *Travel between planets. *Family related things. I would say Zone of the Enders is better and if you liked Coyote then I think you will like it more and maybe Coyote if you liked ZOE.

A mecha with a personality/attachment with the main pilot.

Earth vs Mars anyone? While the stories aren't exactly the same the backdrop is

Both are anime series produced by Konami off of a certain game (ZOE for a video game and YGO for a card game) Though different, Zexal II has one of the monsters named Number 107 Tachyon Dragon that highly resembles to an orbital frame from the ZOE series Despite not being great, they still stand up to their own series to their fanbase

Both are lighthearted space comedies with a nice blend of humour and action.

Zone of the Enders: Dolares, i feels a lot like the Gundam that wasn't. Specifically SEED came to mind while I was watching it, probably because of their similar release dates so the animation in them is fairly similar. ZOE has a similar setup to your typical Gundam with Earth vs Mars (human conflict), but does have a good bit more humor to it. All in all ZOE feels a lot like a less ambitious Gundam with more comedy to it and does it pretty well. (Do be sure to watch the prequel ZOE movie first before the series though)!

Both shows are adaptations from the video games. Both are mainly mecha shows with some comedy elements which don't require too much thinking and you just sit back and enjoy them. Both shows have the earth-mars independent from each other, while relations not exactly peaceful. Both shows feature veteran seiyuu Houko Kuwashima as the main female character. Make sure watching ZOE OVA before the TV series recommended here. Plot wise ZOE is better, while Mars Daybreak has some more memorable characters. Both shows are somewhat underrated.
