-They both deal with the supernatural -They are both action packed and more violent and disturbing than your typical Shonen Jump manga -They both have fun sets of characters -The characters constantly have to fight against dangerous and evil supernatural creatures

Both are action shounen manga that involves demons and humans. Human can turn into demons by being "infected". Both have MCs that join an organization to fight these demons. Both have a female ally to the MC. There's also a ranking system in both human and demon power levels. The time period is probably the only big difference.

Both are dark fantasy shonen manga about an older brother joining a shady organization to find a solution for his younger sibling's problem

If you like shounens, you should read both. When I read Kimetsu no Yaiba, it reminded me of Black Clover because they give off the same kind of feel. The main characters are pretty similar (kind, strong, determination, protective, empathetic, etc.) Both Asta (Black Clover) and Tanjirou (Kimetsu no Yaiba) are skilled when it comes to swords and will do their best to protect those they care about. They don't have a similar story/setting but I think the characters are similar in a way. I think that if you've read one you would definitely like the other.

Both have human turned monsters, and they eat humans. Both have organization specialize in killing them Both main chars' family/loved one are killed by monsters, thus making them to join the organization Both main characters travel around wherever the missions lead them

I get the same vibe from them and the plots are very similiar (organization that hunts demons/ghoul goes on operations against the bad guys that eat people )

Main characters in both of these two stories are male teenagers who want to, among others things, avenge their fallen relatives and get revenge. To achieve that, they become swordsmen fighting with katana and using special powers to fight their enemies (in Kimetsu no Yaiba's case those powers are tied with Breathing techniques, while in Kagurabachi's case - with blades enchanted with magic). Both manga series feature blood and gore during the action scenes.
reportRecommended by Adnash
Both series' protagonist lost their families and they do the things they do (become a spy or demon slayer) in order to protect what they do have left (Mutsumi for Taiyo, Nezuko for Tanjiro).

Similar themes and setting: Period piece battle shonen about Onis attacking society and a boy that had his familly murdered seeks vengeance on the mysterious high profile Oni that did it.
reportRecommended by elvishawk
Both prominently feature a human character who has been transformed into an Oni but maintain a still will to become human again

Both the protagonists seek vengeance. In Kimetsu No Yaiba, the main protagonist fights against Demons who killed his whole family except his sister and in Akaaka To Shita Chi, the main protagonist fights against vampires who killed his family and neighbors.
reportRecommended by Ahasan_Amx
Both are about a kind hearted boy joining an organisation to try to save their sister from a supernatural condition that might turn them violent. Both organisations are convinced that there is no cure, but both protagonists are convinced otherwise

From the moment I started reading this manga, it gave me a very strong Naruto-like feeling. First of all, both are shounen, featuring MC with a tragic background and wearing a visible proof of it. Secondly, both of them have an energic, kind, and determined MC with a strong dream. As the story unwinds further, more characters are introduced and "nakama-power" (or power of friendship) helps to win many battles. However, going further in the story shows that Kimetsu no Yaiba is a perfect story on its own and by no means should be taken purely as a copy of Naruto.

Swords and badass characters

Fabricants prey on humans for specific parts of the human body in the same way Demons prey on humans for their blood. There is also an organization specifically designed to take down fabricants just like the Demon Slayer Core.

Both revolve around swordsmen and the use of sword ability and techniques, the first one is set in a fantasy world while gamaran is set in a pseudo historic japan

Protagonist is a young man whose family member gets kill by a vampire/demon with vampiric properties, so the protagonist goes on a journey to train so they could stop this vampire/demon. During the journey they also find about a breathing technique that would make them stronger and master it.

While different in the main genres (fantasy/sport), both have similar character archetypes, especially the protagonist - hot-blooded, loud a bit dumb but good hearted, similar character interaction and mixing of serious action and slapstick comedy.
reportRecommended by abystoma2
Both manga have a main character who has a relative that fell into evil (though both approaches are different) and the plot deals with them trying to save that sibling figure from their darkness accompanied by two friends he meets during his journey. As the series goes on, the focus starts to be given to the elite members of the main benevolent organizations of the setting, with them receiving spotlight and being fleshed out through the many arcs of the manga.

I read Donten ni Warau when I was waiting for next chapters of Kimetsu no Yaiba. It had the same timeline and it had demons in the story as well. so there were times I got mixed up on the plot. This was a good read- This would be the closest to Kimetsu no Yaiba compared to the other recommendations here.

Both of them have main characters that undergo a lot of character development, the characters go from being weak and helpless to strong willed individuals, both mentally and physically. Both of them take place in similar historical inspired settings. Both of them have very similar art styles and similar clothing designs. Both of them are fantasy action series with hints of adventure.

I don't know it feels like somthing Togashi sensei will write if he was in to ego jidai and old japan and stuff. The art work is simple yet effective like hunter x hunter and the demons are disturbing like the chimera ants. Just for the artwork i thing people who hunter x hunter will like this too
