Both series also follows an adventurous tale where there's brewing rivalries, antagonism, and mysterious secrets. In terms of battle style, expect shounen action with magical mechanics.

Both are very similar with:
-magic and mages, 
-action shounen, 
-overpowered charcters who are on the verge of death but come back alive even stronger, 
-guilds, 
-rivals and who will be the best, 
-and friendship.

Even the beginning, the antagonist are the other guilds, then transitions to a greater evil.

Black Clover feels more mature? than fairy tail, with less in-your-face-ecchi and keeping more of a dark-fantasy theme and characters. Fairy Tail uses more anime and cartoon-y approach.

If you are a fan of Fairy Tail then you have to check out Black Clover. Other than being a Battle shounen manga based in a world of wizards Black Clover just like fairy tail has a strong willed main character that is overpowered and fears nothing. a blast to read and an overall good manga.

Magic is present in both worlds and each character has his own magic. 
Black clover has order of knight which are similar to fairy tail's guild. 
We find groups of wizard who lives and fight together against other groups of wizard.

The atmosphere and humor are the same in both manga.
We have a main character but we evolve with all the group.

The Magic is very versatile in both worlds and is being used for combat and the daily life of its inhabitants. Also the Mc joins a crazy group of outcasts and fights against whatever evil is attacking their city/kingdom alongside them.

Both universes are fictive and use magical power. There are also guilds with badass and mysterious members. Both of these mangas are nekketsu shonen so the protagonists will power up and will make new friends throughout the volumes. To me, these mangas are more targeted at children/young teenagers! Enjoy !!

Boku no Hero Academia addpermalink

Both series explores the growth of the main characters as they discover their true potentials. Dedicating to a variety of shounen themes, both series crafts elements of unnatural powers. For Black Cover, it involves magic while Boku no Hero Academia deals with super powers. As the story progresses, we learn more about these powers with clear details. There is also distinctive character relationships that are often explored in both series as well in particular with the main protagonists. Recommended for fans who are looking for classic shounen.

Both protagonists have a big katana as main weapon
Both are really OP, and have this super fast evolution in their powers
Their enemies never win
Both katanas can liberate a power like getsuga tenshou (from bleach, BUT SAME happens in Black Cover - similar power)
All girls like main protagonist
The army formed by the people with the strongest magic in Black Clover are organized similarly as the shinigamis in soul society (different captains and their shinigamis, also things about royal families and stuff)
And, finally, both are battle shounen manga structured similarly, so if you like one probably will like the other.

Long running battle shonens. Both main characters suddenly get powers and are surprisingly strong, and both use a huge sword. 

Similar pacing (fast) and story structure, although fundamentally different.

The two big organizations in these two manga are both very similar with a bunch of captains leading their own squads and one figure standing above them all.

Yuki Tabata said that Bleach had a huge influence on him. Of all the shounen manga that Black Clover borrows from, Bleach is definitely the most prominent.

On a side note: I've never understood the "Naruto ripoff" claims that BC gets. Any similarities between them are superficial tropes applied across the shounen demographic. The biggest influences are very obvious and BC doesn't try to hide them; Bleach, Berserk, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

The mangaka of Black Clover cited Bleach as one of his major inspirations, and it's easy to see why, both have squadrons of super powered people led by a group of extremely powerful captains who fight to protect the people and have protagonists who mostly use a dark power from an evil race and a sword to fight, to the point you can even see influence on the manga's art style.

The author of Black Clover said in interviews that the creator of Bleach was one of his greatest inspirations and we can confirm this by the similarities between both series.
There are various similarities regarding some specific characters and the world building, also even in the plot on a minor scale, so there is good chance of enjoy the other series if you like one of them.

These are both fairly similar series. They're both high-action shonen with a sword-wielding MC, but I feel like Bleach does it better. Ichigo is a more compelling MC than Black Clover and the cast of Bleach is more interesting.

If you've finished Naruto and caught up with Boruto, but still want more Naruto-like action, Black Clover is pretty much the perfect recommendation.

Both characters are loud, wear headbands, and seek to be similar equivalents in their world - Naruto, a ninja lord, and Asta, the mage king.

The biggest difference is that Black Clover, admittedly, does take some inspirations from a few other popular franchises, but the bits it took from Naruto are perhaps a bit more blatant.

Both stories have a protagonist with no talent but immense raw power. Both protagonists have unbelievably high goals, and lastly both protagonists seem to be hosts to mysterious demonic creatures. They're both fun reads.

Black Clover isn’t very popular right now, which is understandable since it came out not too long ago, but people are already drawing comparisons to Naruto and saying that it’s just a rip off. Being a Naruto fan myself I wanted to check it out.

These are the 5 comparisons to Naruto I have found throughout the series.
1. The Emperor Magus / Hokage: This is probably the most obvious one. Like Naruto, Aster (the main character) wants to be the head honcho.

2. Mage vs Demon / The 4th vs The Ninetails: In Naruto the 4th Hokage fights a gigantic fox with 9 tails that tries to destroy the Leaf Village. Similarly in Black Clover a Mage saves the kingdom of Clover from a giant Demon.

3. Aster and Demon vs Naruto and Ninetails: Both are young kids who have some otherworldly being inside of them. 

4. Rivals: In almost every shonen comic the main character has a rival. Someone that pushes them to get better and to grow one way or the other. Black Clover is no exception.

5. Exams: I felt that I’d include this just incase someone brought it up, but there’s not much here. Both stories had Exams to take which is pretty common in anime along with tournaments. 

Conclusion: Both stories share similar ideas, but they attack those ideas differently. Exams, rivals, and demons are all tropes that have been used in anime and manga for a while now, so to say Black Clover is ripping off Naruto isn’t really true. The author is just using ideas that are common for shonen type comics and eastern comics in general and putting a new spin on it.

Normal shonen jump of progressively harder opponents, many power ups and forms, and a simple plot. Both have good art and similar protagonist.

Both want to become the strongest, get many powerups, fight stronger opponents, the normal shonen stuff. Both main characters have a demon inside them, and use their super strong powers. Both have emotional moments, epic fight scenes, and good panelling.

-Naruto passes the Shounen torch to new manga BLACK CLOVER is the next great  series that would be as big as naruto.

-Similarities :

-1. The Emperor Magus / Hokage: This is probably the most obvious one. Like Naruto, Asta (the main character) wants to be the head honcho. The Big Cheese. The Guy. Mr. Boss Man himself. The guy who is simultaneously ‘large’ and ‘in charge’. That much is the same, however, Asta and Naruto want the position for different reasons. Naruto was shunned by everyone as a child so naturally he wanted attention and what better way to get attention than to become the president of Ninjatown?
And Asta wants the title of Emperor Magus so that he can abolish discrimination from his country.
So I guess their goals are kinda the same, but their reasons differ too much to call it a rip off IMO.

-2. Mage vs Demon / The 4th vs The Ninetails: In Naruto the 4th Hokage fights a gigantic fox with 9 tails that tries to destroy the Leaf Village.Similarly in Black Clover a Mage saves the kingdom of Clover from a giant Demon. We have nothing more than a before and after shot of the fight between the two in Black Clover, so there's not really much to compare here.

-3. Aster and Demon vs Naruto and Ninetails: Both are young kids who have some otherworldly being inside of them. Naruto had the 9-tails sealed inside of him when he was a baby by the 4th Hokage and from then on was looked down upon by society, but gave him tremendous power in return.

-4. Rivals: In almost every shonen comic the main character has a rival. Someone that pushes them to get better and to grow one way or the other. Black Clover is no exception. Juno is Aster’s rival. Much like Sasuke, Juno is born with a talent in magic and, much like Naruto, Aster is not as talented. Where they differ is Sasuke looked down on Naruto for not being as talented as him and just flat out hated Naruto at the start of the series

-Both Naruto and asta starts as weak.
-Both has rival (Yuna and sasuke)
-Both don't know about there parents at start and is raised by someone else.
- Similar catchphrase." I will became the hokage", " I will became the Magic king".
-Both are Superpower genre
-Both has hidden Power ( Demonic).
-Both of them shout way too much.
-Both are happy-go-lucky.
-Both are super obsessed with their goals.
-Both are got rejected by the girl they like (only at beginning though) Sakura and sister lily.

Black Clover and 666 Satan have something in common. That is that Slum Rats such as Aster the main character of Black clover are hated. Same goes for 666. The O-parts are hated but out of all of them 2 people are hated the most from Black Clover it's Aster for not being able to use magic and in 666 Satan it's Jio Freed a boy who possesses The Demon Satan within him. Aster has something strange inside of him too but he is only hated for his non-magical prowess. Jio from 666 wants to conquer the entire world in a sense Aster does too because he wants to become the Magic Emperor and show people that even Slum Rats that don't possess as much magic as nobles can become something. He wants to abolish the difference and hatred in everyone for his fellow kind. In a sense Jio wants too. read more

Kimetsu no Yaiba addpermalink

 If you like shounens, you should read both. When I read Kimetsu no Yaiba, it reminded me of Black Clover because they give off the same kind of feel. The main characters are pretty similar (kind, strong, determination, protective, empathetic, etc.) Both Asta (Black Clover) and Tanjirou (Kimetsu no Yaiba) are skilled when it comes to swords and will do their best to protect those they care about. They don't have a similar story/setting but I think the characters are similar in a way. I think that if you've read one you would definitely like the other.

Main Similarities:

•Both main characters in the series (Luffy from One Piece and Asta from Black Clover) share many similarities.
They also have the catch phrase where they want to be the best.
(ex. Luffy says, "He'll be the Pirate King" while Asta says, "He'll be the Sorcerer Emperor"... every time! So it'll be annoying.)
•The main characters have the "never give up attitude."
•Similar genres (action, comedy, fantasy, etc.)
•Both serialized by Shounen Jump (Weekly), so you'll know it'll be great.
•Both are long series. As of June 13 2016, One Piece has 827 chapters while Black Clover only has 65 (it has significantly less chapters since Black Cover is still new (2015)  while One Piece started back in 1997).

Overall both are great. Highly recommended to read it when you get the chance. read more

At the core of both series, magic is a prominent source of power. The main protagonist from both series experiences with magical powers that truly tests the limits of their abilities. Throughout the story, they learn about magic and grow stronger as they take on adversaries. Both series' main male protagonist also shares similar personalities and is always eager to prove themselves and to others. Expect shounen style action and conflicts involving supernatural elements.

Two manga about a boy who can't learn magic, no matter how hard he tries, inside a school of magicians, which has led to him being picked on all the time. That aside, he has another quality that is at least as potent as magic though, being able to fight with swords and negating other people's magic.

The MC has made a promise to climb through the ranks with a strong magician of their own age.

Dragon Ball addpermalink

Black Clover and Dragon Ball are both "meat-head" shonen. Both are focused on action with characters and plot coming after. I personally prefer Dragon Ball but I do think that Black Clover's cast is a little better. Keep in mind though that I've only read Dragon Ball (when Goku was a kid) and the saiyan saga.

Muscle-brain guys without an ounce of magic power. They don't seem to have lots of options continuing their lives without using their brawn, as almost anything revolves around magic.

*Both started with building muscles for years.
*Both actually have some kind of way to resist being affected from another's magic.

Both have relying magic as their main source of power in various aspects. In Magi, magic has been used in the daily lives of the people, such as occupation and battle. Meanwhile in Black clover, those who can't use magic is considered failed as a person. Both mangas also tells us about the greatness of adventure in the world of magic, finding an unexplored dungeon which full of treasures, and the beauty of friendship in the two of main character in each manga (Aladdin and Alibaba in Magi, Aster and Yuno in Black Clover).
Very recommended for those who looking for epicness of shounen manga!

both are mc who are weak when it comes to using magic despite being mages one by choice and one not so much
both use swords to fight and are totally badass but they're not invincible as they don't know how to use their powers properly  
both are about kids who are orphans 
both have a mission and a goal which seems out of their reach
both gain teammates but in this sense wizardry zeo is much darker because people die in every few chapters who seem to be important but never the less they die.
both are in their mid teens and travel around doing quests
both fight some insane battles 
over all wizardry zeo is like a mature version of black clover and vice versa  read more

Known for its shounen themes and style, Ao no Exorcist and Black Cover adapts a world where supernatural forces exist with extraordinary feats. The main male protagonist are also similar in terms of personalities and has a competitive nature that revolves their role in the story. Both series also contain explorations of powers with hidden potentials especially with the main protagonists. Recommended for fans of supernatural fiction.

In Black Clover the MC possess no magic, while everybody else has magic powers. The MC has still a way to fight and aims to be the best (Magic Emperor).

In Kokuei no Junk the MC is a wandless magician, while everyone else is using a wand. Only the MC is wandless and still can use magic. And he aims to be on oft the best, a Paladin.

In both series, you will ask more and more questions by every chapter while seeing your main protagonists will go on adventures.
Both have similar type of action where characters help each other in fight instead of just punching and both have on point comedy witha bit of echinnes in it.
