| Gosh that was... just AMAZING! Such a fulfilling arc and this episode continues with that feeling. The conclusion, the usage of "brother", how it wrapped up and the preview of the next episode.... whewwww..... what a journey it has been so far. |

| This is so deep that I you could fell into it and stay there. Beisde the theme of human condition, this is one of the most eloquent and great manifest about non-violence. 10/10 absolute. |

| Wow.. I was holding back tears until the the "For Arnheid" and the scene with Pater. This episode was truly beautiful, the music and animation totally helped sell those scenes. |
| Damn, this was some episode! Convincing Canute with that underhanded move, that's a genius move from Thorfinn, lol. On a serious note though, it was really lovely to see a glimpse of that old Thorfinn when he folded his arms and requested Canute to stop making more work for him. Perhaps a little convenient but I really like the idea of two leaders with their own methods covering for each other like this. As long as they keep away, I suppose that might just be a good enough peace for this lifetime. Thorfinn and Einar's little moment there promising to create a world for people like Arnheid to continue the will to live was super touching and I got to give it to the anime crew for nailing that scene. Farm seems to have moved on from the tragedy and it's nice to see that everyone is trying to help out in whatever capacity possible. Ketil-san's definitely feeling the aftereffects of. his rash decisions from earlier. Next episode should be very very interesting... Is it just me or did Thorfinn's sister (I'm guessing, from the next ep preview) look mad, lmao? |

| I loved how Thorfinn solved the issue peacefully, but it was in part due to Canute's personality. I do wonder if he'll stay this way or will a major event will change his philosophy |

| Thorfinn has finally gone full pacifist route. The young lad decided to run away as far as he can from King Canute's reign of power. Seeing this, King Canute laughed wholeheartedly out of amusement. Seeing a slave unarmed and trying to convince him not to take over the farm. King Canute has never encountered such a ridiculous negotiation before. But he acknowledged Thorfinn's ideals and decided not to take over the farm. Thorfinn the real MVP. Askeladd would be so proud of him right now. Can't wait for Thorfinn to be reunited with his family back in Iceland next episode. |

 LOL Thorgil's expression. I'm on the same page as him. Extremely disappointed that Thorfinn's solution is "running away". From the preview I'm looking forward to Thorfinn's reunion with his mom and sister. Gonna to for sure be an emotional scene. |

| oh my days, two 5/5 episodes back-to-back. probably the best episode visually, the sky in every scene and the color pallets just looked great. if every episode this season looked this good, i would've given it a 9. nearly brought tears to my eyes with the music as well bruh. lowkey sad that they're leaving, even tho they were slaves lmao. snake's real name is roald. canute with the laugh, i wonder when we'll see him again. i can already see chad memes of the handshake scene, but yeah goated. last episode next week, let's see how this goes. |

| Even if they end the anime with this episode, it would be a good conclusion to a great story. Next episode we finally return to thorfinns homeland after so many years. Family reunion time! |

| What a great episode!! Canute really got rejected by Thorfinn so bad that he lost sanity, anyway that was emotional AF... There's still hope in Canute seeing how he chose to leave Thorfinn at peace Thorfinn changed him using nothing but words, not even Askeladd could do that. Snake screaming out his name to Thorfinn & Einar gave me goosebumps but next episode will be even better Can't wait for the family reunion, this really felt like the last episode & I feel like not watching the next one since it definitely will end on a cliffhanger Legend says Thorgil is still searching for Canute . |
