| I wanted to know more about Yor's past, there's still just so much we just don't understand like who exactly are these "traitors" she mentions that she kills like does she work for Ostania? But either way, this was a solid 2nd cour though some things could've probably been better. |

| Awesome final episode for the season. A tense encounter but it also had a lot to say about parenting. You can't help but feel bad for Damion. Desmond has some really sketchy vibes. The only thing I wish we got more of was Yor actually doing that whole assassin thing. We see her inhumane levels of strength all the time but never actually killing anyone. |
| Well Loid finally came in contact with Mr. Desmond. I was just waiting for it. And watching how Damian was acting while Loid was speaking to Mr. Desmond is too cute. I was dying while watching. :) |

| My favourite episode of this season omg it was so lovely and such a well-rounded way to end a season! Damian boutta become one of my favourite characters. Can't wait for season 2! Prolly gonna start reading the manga when I have some more spare time too <3 |

| I was considering dropping spy family because I didn't think it was going anywhere. The first 3 episodes and the tennis arc were super great but the rest fell flat. I'm glad I stayed because this episode had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. |

| Interesting way to end a season but it was a good ending. Donovan Desmond doesn't seem like a particularily nice man and definitely not a good father. I feel for Damian. I just noticed that Handler wears the rings Loid and Fiona won at the tennis tournament. Overall a nice season. I hope we see more of Handler and the Franky/Anya-team next season. |

| Here in the final episode of part 2 of the first season, we finally get a confrontation with the target we've been after this entire time. And although you have to agree that it would be quite easy to conjure up magical bs or whatever in the writing room to achieve the goal of operation strix, I still very much appreciate how at the start of this episode they finally at least give a somewhat acceptable explanation as to why this elite social gathering is so hard to infiltrate. Getting inside the building and any of the technical stuff doesn't matter, what really matters as to what makes this mission difficult is that it's not one of assassination, but rather one of befriending the target and gaining his trust. Again I'm sure you could come up with writing to work your way around this, but I think it's a believable enough reason as to why operation strix has been so long and arduous. Although now that I think about it and if I remember correctly, the key component in getting Twilight to come in contact with Desmond (Anya), has kind of done next to jack-sh*t in terms of operation strix (yes she saved the day on a few occasions but those weren't directly related to operation strix I don't think), other than her punching Damian (which wasn't supposed to happen) which Twilight used as a way to connect with the Desmonds. I'll stop rambling on this here now since you probably aren't going to read this anyway lol. Anyway, the complete Season 1 of Spy X Family has come to a close, with Part 1 easily being stronger than Part 2. With the first couple episodes or so of Part 1, I had the impression that this show was going to carry some significant weight to it- but as it went on it was clear that light and fluffy were better ways to describe it. As long as you see it as an above-average slice of life comedy it's good, but you may think otherwise like me as my expectations were in the wrong place for the majority of Part 2 and even some of the last episodes of Part 1. The comedy fell a bit more flat and felt a bit more forced here in Part 2. And when comedy one of the if not THE main thing it's going for, then that's a problem. But I don't need to tell you that of course comedy is highly subjective, so call it a nitpick of mine if you will. Nonetheless I still very much enjoyed most of Part 2, with the tennis game probably being my personal highlight. But again, most of it certainly is just slice of life fluff. Which again, as long as you solely view it as a so, there's no problem. But you know, a little real progress here and there concerning operation strix (speaking of, I think I must've heard somewhere that the ENTIRE manga SO FAR is all about operation strix... is that true??) wouldn't hurt. And yes that is the focus is this ongoing operation throughout, and we get small little updates here and there, but only in the LAST episode of the season do we get some REAL development. Ah f*ck I'm rambling on again, no one's going to read a wall of text. It was decent, it was enjoyable, so Part 2 gets a 7/10.... albeit a very low-ish 7/10, whereas I viewed Part 1 as a VERY high-ish 8/10 (like I was on the border of giving it a 9/10). Season 2 has already been announced, and I'll be looking forward to it. If it's more of the same which it probably is, most will continue to love it. I'll personally be hoping for just a little more than that though. |

| nothing really happened in this episode it was almost like a setup for the upcoming season 2 it was cool tho easy and quite to watch the whole part 2 was pretty balance between social life and comedy and a bit of romance i like it |

| I don't know about others but I felt Loid was really pushing his luck during that conversation. If I were Desmond, I would have SUSpected the moment Loid started his third or fourth sentence. Overall, solid continuation but not as good as Part 1. Some episodes weren't as strong as I expected them to be and gotta be honest, the tennis mini-arc was kinda boring to me. Anya-focused episodes continued to be as great as ever tho. 7,5/10 -> 7/10 - Looking forward to the new season and excited for the movie announcement as well. |

| The parents' meeting arrived, Loid was preparing to approach Donovan Desmond. Damian at first didn't want to meet his father. But Anya convinced him, in her own way xD And the moment came, the conversation was "calm". But you could feel the tension. Loid was able to get some information. And that's how it ended...the 1st season. Now we have to wait for the 2nd season and the movie. It was a very good adaptation. Here, many images xd  |
| While not a great ending as far as resolving issues it was fine since we know season 2 is in development. This 2nd cour was good and was comparable to the 1st cour but I felt that the 1st cour was a little better with a little more action and less SoL whereas the 2nd cour felt more SoL and a little less action. I did like the quality of the animation especially in the OP and ED and Anya's reactions are second to none. I just wish the storyline would've moved a bit more forward with more action but regardless I look foward to the 2nd season and movie. Overall I give this an 8/10. |

| I know that some people are here for the actual story of spy, cold war and whatnot but the theme is literally childcare. Why are you even here for, some people complain when there's too much Anya, like what? I read the manga until the latest chapter and imo so far there's a balance amount of slice of life stuffs and actual story progression stuffs. If you're only in the series for the story progression then better making a list of some chapters/episodes you're going to skip ig. That said, it's sad there's no Anya for next week but we got a confirmation on S2 and Movie. Season 2 seems like it's going to be cruise arc, so hyped for that. |
