Thor truly commands great respect. The fact that all of these strong-looking warriors bow before him is proof of how powerful he is. They really killed all those gorgeous women just like that. Such a shame😮💨😮💨😔😔. The single scene of everyone celebrating that they are going to war in comparison to Thor who has seen war is amazing. The way Thorfinn started hitting everyone reminds me of that slapping meme😂😂. Wait Thorfinn is only 6 beating up 11 year olds🤣🤣🤣. So this is where we first hear the line "You have no enemies. No one is your enemy.". I never realised how well everything is thought out in this show he grabbed the blade to show what it can do when it touches another person's flesh so that his words would carry more of an impact. Oh, snap I completely forgot Thor got betrayed by his own "friend".  |
| So the village has no idea what it means to go to war? Also, why the heck do you go and disturb someone to join the war for you to then try and kill him? Will he die and will this turn into "How little boy avenged his father" stuff? :/ |

| One of the things I like about their era is that r*ping women is acceptable as part of the invasion. I would have loved to indulge in that if I were given the chance! Haha! It's such a shame that England managed to retake the Isles and drive out the Vikings or forcefully assimilate them into their culture and religion. It would be much cooler if the British Isles were Norse in culture today and Ásatrú is a major religion. I'm an atheist, but I don't mind becoming an Asatruar. Oh man, that scene in the end. I didn't expect that. I guess they never truly forgive desertions. |

| There's a unique kind of uneasiness at seeing children raised in a time of peace being naively excited about going to war. Not exactly expecting Thors to live forever or anything but man was that betrayal dirty. The way Helga wordlessly mends Thors' injured hand tho. |
