take a good anime story which was supposed to be a 24 episode and somehow compress it into a 12 episode which makes it loose all the impact

other than the last 3 episodes i felt very little from the anime , sure it was fun if i took it as a slice of life genre but when i compare it to the previous work of the author it falls way behind ... i was looking forward to this anime i was sad when i saw the 6.97 score in MAL (which is fair now that i watched it) so i postponed watching it ... till now.

i don't know the reason why the people who made this thought that they could fit this into only 12 episodes. and leave it with so many loose ends .

Well i am getting the feeling that all recent anime rush to the climax .. i
Fate Grand order is one of those anime .

though i enjoyed the anime as a whole i think they rushed the starting way too much i got the feeling there were a lot of skipped scenes . Though i can understand this strategy of getting to the meat and potatoes as soon as possible rushing the process will not bring out the stories full potential.

this is why i gave it a 9 score . but i guess if i played the game it would make a lot more sense

so ... those looking for good fight scenes you have come to the right place take this anime to the sunrise and enjoy

Story

This show show shows the struggles of the protagonist who is trying to become an Independent artist. The struggles of women in that time without relying on men . the hardships they go through in life when they are born when they are only expected to marry a man or end up as a nun

Art

for an anime about art the art speaks for itself . The art of this anime is very good but for an anime about art what else can you expect.

There is a lot of development with some characters including the protagonist. My favorite was the girl the protagonist she was a naughty child with a past so it is understandable why she acted that way.

My Enjoyment

half way through the first episode i started to expect some SJW crap but i was happy that there was nothing like that in the entire show. This show is about a girl struggling to live independently in a time when it was nearly impossible. i thought this anime was going to be boring but now that i just finished it it feels like i just finished reading a good book.

I enjoyed this anime much more than i thought i would. I avoid shoujo anime unless i hear it has action or good story . I bumped into this anime purely by chance and i enjoyed it . this is the only reverse harem i can think of where i can understand why the boys fall for her , she got my heart too. ( Do i have a thing for enigmatic girls ....... i liked Muge from "a whisker away" too )

Other than the first episode there is not much character development for the heroine . All the rest of the characters only develop within the episode they are introduced in.

English Dub
I honestly thought this anime would have better dub to be honest . not much effort was put into trying to match character and voice actor.

Enjoyment
other than episode 9 and the first half of the last episode (which i found very cheesy ) the rest was awesome

For some reason this anime pulled some heart strings for me. I cant put it into words but i never expected enjoying the view point of a girl ( though she is very charming in a way ) . The skirt is gravity defying is what i was thinking some of the times. Netflix is getting good at making anime.

Story '

not tragic but there are many scenes that has a charm of a slice of life anime which will make you feel nostalgic ( i am getting old )

Art

above average . no where close to the best animation i have seen but ... it was beautiful.

Sound

decent sound tracks (i am not a music fan so i cant tell how good they are, maybe i should stop writing this category )

Character

The main girl is so charming in her own way that i liked (not sexually) her from the first shot . but compared to her all of the other characters have little focus in the story.

by the way i am not a cat person so if you think this movie revolves around the life of cats you are only quarter right. this focuses more in coming of age and slice of life

it is very sad to see anime which have good potential end up being given up on. this anime had all the requirements to be a hit but so poorly put together that now it will be a watchable show which will be forgotten soon.

i am a big fan of isekai anime so i watched this show expecting it to be good. i cant help being disappointed. this is not a anime that focused on the story.

Art

though they added CGI which stood out like a sore thumb to the show the overall animation remained great . probably the shows only redeeming ... feature.

very little character development which did not have any impact at all. even when i am writing this as soon as i finished the show i cant think of anything which fit into this category.

a pastime which you wont enjoy much.



I think the company either never had high hopes for this anime or gave up on it part way. a lot of scenes were noticeably rushed or unfinished. i am not sure if was because of covid 19 but i feel other than the animation everything was dull

This anime is an example of promotion . though it was enjoyable it was obviously holding back a details from the original sauce ( i am not sure if it was adapted form light novel or manga but i am guessing it is from the former ) .

... very good , they had CGI but its use was satisfactory , i guess the budget went to making the art rather than the story.

i did not see any development with any of the characters.

not good i thought they would put some effort but they did the average amount

i know i am being to harsh with this anime but i am upset that they are trying to hold back so much just for the sake of better manga or light novel sales

NETFLIX GOOD JOB !!! i watched the original BAkI years ago and after years of waiting i lost hope in a second season long ago. The fights are awesome , for an action anime this is a must watch

Different from the usual action anime in a good way . Many plot twists and suspense.

Netflix did a good job in animating but not the best at least they did not try any CGI this season.

the growth of characters are outstanding . Even minor characters have incredible growth.

i have only played volley ball a few times in my life so i can't say that this anime brought any nostalgia for me. but there is so much more to this anime than only volley ball . it has a good story and it pulls your emotions in a way that gives you the rush within.

Story

Focuses on volley ball but has a lot of comedy , has interesting characters , gives you the genuine feeling of watching a real game unfold and the story of each character.

this anime deserves to be better dubbed honestly. as a anime that now has a 3rd season i am pretty sure the dubbers regret their decision now.

I was waiting for the second season of the anime to release before i started watching it but i got impatient. Now i have to deal with a cliffhanger.

What do farm animals think when they know the fate that awaits them. well this story is about will happen if they are intelligent enough to find out and try to escape.

above average art the character design is a bit creepy though.

technically there is a lot of development . it is to be expected when the anime is horror .
