Both stories take place in an old murium settings where a strong main characters showing up out of nowhere. The stories also have a supernatural and action genre background. The techniques used by the characters use Ki attacks which become very 'outrageous'.

The relationship between Ryo and Kaori is exactly the same between Carrot and Chocolate/Tira. The guys are always trying to do perverted things with girls while the main female characters stop them in various ways. If your looking for this type of character cohesion and similar comedy; then these two animes are what you are looking for.
