Of what you've seen, which anime would suffer the most if it were expressed in another medium? E.g. I believe that Parasyte and Shirobako may actually work in live-action format (the former's movie was awful, but only due to lack of competence), Kill La Kill, Gurren Lagann and Jojo would not work at all in any non-anime format, and many would argue that Ghost In The Shell and Akira would be better in live-action (hence why the former is in production).


I ask this because you've stated that LOGH has a weaker narrative than some classical literature. Which leads to the question, why watch anime, given that it isn't the strongest source of writing, typically? What about it appeals to you? If your favourites were just recreated in another medium, would they appeal to you as much?
