Hime: *laughs* I'm past a teenager, although I wish I was one again. That's all I'm willing to tell you. XD
Q: Fair enough. You seem to be quite new to MAL. How did you stumble across this site?
Hime: Hmm, my friends. They kinda promoted it, sort of.
Q: How long have you been watching anime?
Hime: Seriously? I think I remember Little Prince Cedie in my childhood memories. That's anime right? If not, I'd say Sailormoon and Yuyu Hakusho. That was when I was a 3rd grader or 4th.
Q: And you're still watching now besides being...?
Hime: *laughs* I won't be falling for that one. XD I still watch since it basically has the same elements that other people watch on tv. Moral lessons are there, more or less. Excitement, check. Suspense, check. Enjoyment factor, check. The only difference is that anime is drawn and colored. And you know what? Anime is a lot better than ordinary programs on tv most of the time.
Q: How often do you spend your time in front of the computer?
Hime: Whenever I can! XD Seriously, during night time as much as possible. I'm nocturnal and I feel most comfortable when I'm browsing at night. I don't go to porn sites, ok?
Q: Won't that cause problems as you still go to school in the morning?
Hime: Yeah, sometimes. I sneak naps when travelling or when I get a really "good position" *wink*wink* in class. I get 4 hours of sleep at night. 6 hours at maximum. However, I do sleep in the afternoon to make up for it. ^_^
Q: Are you socially withdrawn?
Hime: Hell no. Sometimes I am though, LOL. I might be an otaku, but I can still respond to people around me. In fact, a lot of my otaku friends commented that I don't look like an otaku at all. And I don't seem to be the type who is into these kind of things.
Q: So tell us, what are you exactly?
Hime: I'm a hime, I'm a kunoichi. Go figure.
Q: And in real life?
Hime: A struggling International Studies student, and a Global Moderator of an online anime community.
Q: This community would be...?
Hime: CDOtaku! (busts a move)
Q: *clears throat* Right. Your profile picture. Care to tell us about it?
Hime: It's a party picture form Ragnarok Online. On the left we have my friend, Aylarox, who is a Lord Knight; in the center is yours truly, an Assassin Cross; and on the right is our High Priestess, my good friend Yume.
Q: While we're at it, do you still play Ragnarok?
Hime: Yes I still do, but in a different server. My current character is still on the Assassin level, and I play whenever I feel like it. My friend, Kookee (he's here in MAL as well), also uses my account to boost its level so that we can finally make a guild.
Q: You into MMORPGs or any online games?
Hime: Well, Ragnarok at the moment. Dance Audition before. I was kinda addicted to online games before, but now I don't let it rule over me.
Q: Any other platforms aside your computer? What games?
Hime: Hmm.. PS2, I suppose. I'm addicted to Final Fantasy, too, but lost interest after FFX-2 came out. I also go for games like DMC, Tenchu, and other rpgs.
Q: Moving along. Your avatar. Who is she?
Hime: That's Kunoichi from Samurai Warriors. For her character, I'd say she's quick and hasty, but not really on to strength and stamina. I think she's Nene on Samurai Warriors 2 though.
Q: And your signature? "Gaze Rock" right?
Hime: Yup! It's from the GazettE, I edited that one. It's supposed to be my friend Yume's. I made it for her as her siggy in CDOtaku, but I like it so much that I used it here!
Q: GazettE? Aren't they a visual kei band?
Hime: They started off as one. Now, they're trying to break off from the genre, much like what L'Arc~en~Ciel did.
Q: You seem to like L'Arc~ alot.
Hime: Yes I do! It's my first fandom ever. You can't imagine how I was obsessed with them five years ago. Even though I try to explore other bands like the GazettE, UVERworld, and currently Dir en Grey, I still am loyal to L'Arc~ and go back to their music most of the time.
Q: I can see you take on visual kei as well. So what are your thoughts about it? It's quite noticeable that the majority of the fans are girls.
Hime: LOL! Yes, it does seem to be that way, doesn't it? To tell the truth, I think that visual kei is weird. Uniquely weird, that is. Actually, I get drawn to the music at first before I follow the band's music. My taste in music varies. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. Regarding the GazettE, I became a fan as I really like their music. I was able to see the band first though, before I listened to their music. My friend Michiru (here in MAL as well^^) has good taste in music, and often times we do have a lot of things in common and she said to try the band. And so I did. XD
Q: So you mean to say, their 'bishieness', as some fans would say, didn't affect you at all?
Hime: Well, I didn't say that. LOL! Another factor that keeps me attached to a band or an artist is their face value, if you get what I mean. *winks*
Q: Hmph. Typical fangirl. *coughs* Anyways, I think that's it for now. Is another interview possible?
Hime: When you can catch me, why not? XD
Q: I'll try my hardest then. Any last few words for the people out there?
Hime: i dig Jmusic aside from anime, most especially L'Arc~en~Ciel and the GazettE
i tend to get picky about anime nowadays, unlike before
add me up if you want, but please indicate that you're from here (in YM, that is)
