I'm still not sure if MAL is a convenience or some diabolical contrivance. Since I started using it the amount of series I concurrently watch have been steadily climbing. It's now a lot easier to put off completing an old series and move on to something else when I'm bored. (Damn you Xinil!) Once I put something off, it takes me a while to get the urge to go back to it.
____________________________On why I comment on shows:_____
I like leaving comments on shows. But I'm random on what I write; sometimes it's a summary, maybe some related info about the show, other times it's what I thought about an anime, or what bugged me about it. I try to put spoiler tags in if I'm talking about important events in the show, so it should be safe to check out. On my list, click on "more" next to the series' name to see if I wrote about it. I haven't done it for all of them, but I'm trying to for the stuff I've recently watched. If I watch a series again, it will be interesting to go back and see what I thought about it at the time I wrote the comments, then see if my view changed at all. But I also do it for those that are trying to decide if they want to watch a series or not. Hopefully it will be of some help to someone.
______________________________________On the way I rate:_____
I don't really rate high unless I found something that blows me away for some reason, but on the other hand I don't usually rate below a 5 either. If something is so bad it deserves a 4 or below, then I probably couldn't bring myself to watch it all the way through. If I can't complete the series, then I don't think it's fair to give it a rating that applies for that series in it's entirety. So that's why you usually won't find low ratings from me.
____________________On being a baka at language fluency:_____
I'm half Japanese, but I don't speak it :( Since we never used it at home and I have the gift of lack of ability when it comes to learning languages. I started watching anime again in the last couple of years, and I'm picking up some words here and there. Hopefully it will allow me to make some progress in my Japanese.

Here are my little to no skillz/talent signatures. With some links to get you started if you want to make your own banner for the 1st time.
Current Signature:
My latest sig is nothing special, still a work in progress. The Minami-ke one was getting old, so since I finally got to see Kara no Kyoukai: Fukan Fuukei it was as good an excuse as any to update. I used a banner ad I found off some Type-moon related site, featuring the girls from the movie series. I had to cleaned out all the text on it, then shrunk it to fit MAL size. After that I extended the sides by just coloring them in and doing a little cloning.
Here's the original if you'd like to see it:
Old Signature:
If the banner is out of sync, try refresh/reload.
My old Minami-ke banner. At 225kb it's not modem friendly(if so use "work mode" under Profile>Edit>Personal) and a lot of people find animated sigs obnoxious, even so this was my first attempt at making animated gifs and I think it came out alright. It was made with the free GIMP (check the links at the very bottom of its page for different OS versions) image software and MovieSnapshot (for frame capture) using this guide as a base. I may try my hand again at an animated sig. I've got a rough idea for one, but so far I've yet to find my motivation.
My old Claymore one and it's source. The no skillz banner was made with IrfanView, another free photo software. It's just cropping, canvas size, negative and basic math to put it together, then MS Paint to cover up part of the Claymore title that wasn't blocked out by the canvas extension.
So that's how it's called,sry.
Yeah but I really don't want to remember them,it's so annoying hopefully I'll pass it and relax the whole summer. And just one year to go in a high school and I'm done with school.
I'm now really working on photoshop I'm just making some random sigs(not mal ones),so I'll show you some results and I learned some new stuff, but I now realize that it's really hard to realize all those thing especially when english is not my speaking language and I don't understand most of the expert words used on photoshop and other similar programs(also on the Internet).
Ohh tnx I just changed the text style I like it now even more.I don't think that she from some anime/manga/game or so,I just found her and render the pic and so.
Ohh and I though that you had a photographic memory.
Well I'll just have to study more than expected but I'll probably pass it,I just have to 100% concetrated and follow the basic examples.
You made a new mal signature really good.So you haven't forgoot your skills I just started agian working with photoshop I totally forgot how do anything.Still I made a pretty good profile picture(what do you think?).But it's easy to forgot something you knew when not using photoshop that often, lol.
Ohh kio,how are you?Long time no hear from you :D.Heh my school is finished although tomorrow officially, still I failed math as I suspected.Gonna have to learn some more, and with these temperature.Hopefully I'll pass it from the first try.
Perhaps they're necessery for her mystic eyes. And well, we all can be born with something we cannot use. It's probably something like that. If you get what I mean.
I bet we'll get more in depth details about her in Mahou Tsukai no Yoru. So we'll just have to wait for a translation when it's released. At least, someone will write a summary and tell everyone about the important details.
We could make another bar with "Future releases" and add those?
After searching through some of Fuyuki's archives I gave up for now, as I couldn't find what I was looking for.
But this is from the Type-Moon wiki..
She's a powerful Magus, and she's able to reproduce parts of a body that can be used instead of the lost part. While this would be nothing special, she can reproduce the part in such a perfect way that it comes close to the real one.
Same here. It've been displaying my old Sakura picture for like two days. And right now I can only see people's old profile pictures when they post in a profile.
Yeah, it would be nice if we success to get up to 400 members before our one year anniversary.
Touko. :p
What's said is that she can't use magic. Of course she can do simple stuff as setting up a barrier and things like that. But no real magic. All though she has 20 magnificent magic circuits, which are pretty much the best ones ever existed in the Aozaki family.
I'm not really sure how she's making the arm like that, I can look that up. But she does have magic items. So I suppose could be using them.
This is taken from "Magic" in Fuyuki:
During the 5th Fuyuki grail war, the older sister was in hiding while the younger sister was touring the country, without a care in the world. The little sister isn't good at anything other than destruction, but, the older sister is more of the skilled craftswoman type.
And a lot of people seem to be making this mistake, but to make it real clear:
T-o-u-k-o c-a-n n-o-t u-s-e m-a-g-i-c.
Generally, Association interest in the Aozaki family is mainly just based on them being successors of magic, rather than any sort of individual talent. Touko herself happened to be an exceptional genius with beautiful circuits that were average in number but overwhelmed all else through precision, a born set of mystic eyes, five senses that could feel the intricacies of the world, and knowledge adapting to the natural laws without wasting her own unique aspects. Even without the magic part, the Association would take notice of her genius, but the fact that she was supposed to be the inheritor of the 5th was more significant.
The Aozakis have been losing their circuits over the years and by the time of Aoko's parents, there had been practically none, dooming the magus history of the Aozakis to end in that generation, until Touko showed up, whose number of circuits and deviation was in the top of the history of the Aozaki's.
I'm not sure if it's important to the story. So I guess you'll have to wait and see for yourself. :P But as a teaser I guess I could say it's related to a name mentioned in Fukan Fuukei.
Well, the re-print has 3 volumes instead of 2. I suppose it have like, the 3 first chapters in volume 1 and 2 chapters in the other volumes. As the last chapters are pretty long. The whole second volume has about half of the 5th chapter and chapter 6-7, and it's still bigger than volume 1.
I forgot to answer one thing about Touko in my previous reply, this could be kind of a spoiler. Related to Touko and magic, so you decide if you want to read or not.
But, Touko can't use magic. She's a master at making puppets and controlling them.
Well, I can spoil you on the arm if you want. I like telling spoilers. =]
I'm not sure if reading only the first chapter will help much, as it's, as you know, a whole story all together.
Actually, I meant for the Type-Moon club. But I changed mine as well. :P
Yeah, the visuals were absolutely amazing. I was going to watch some anime after that, but I seriously didn't feel like watching some other shitty anime. The animation is too bad.
They did an excellent job with following the novel. The only thing I can't really remember happening was that first scene in the Fujyou building.
When Ryougi had to cut off her artifictial arm's hand.
But it've been quite some time since I read the first chapter, and I'm returning my laptop next week. So I guess I can take my time reading it again then.
And yeah, that clay animation was funny.
The only idea I have would be to have the background pretty blue. Even though the logo is blue and yellow, I think it would look pretty good with a lighter blue or a darker as backgruond.
We could make a folder like that. We could add bars and stamps to the club page as well, under another spoiler. :P
Haha, yeah. The Touka h-scene was funny. I felt kind of bad for her that she was so easily tricked by Karura.
Thanks for UtaWarriors~ I'll try it out sometime today. I have to get on with playing Wind -a breath of heart- now again, as I don't have any anime to watch.
Of course, Touka and Kamyu are not lolis. But you won't get any good cgs with Aruruw unless you complete it at the horder mode.
It's alright though, we got a Kamyu h-scene and it was more than enough. Probably the best one in the whole game. I love the way Kamyu is scraping Hakuoro's skin and licking his blood.
If you could upload UtaWarriors to megaupload it would be very appreciated.
Hey, it sure have.
Well, a lot, I guess. At least compared to what I usually do. I've been a bit more social lately.
What about yourself? Aside from Utawa.
Actually, I prefer just reading the text, but there was nothing wrong with the battles inbetween for some reading breaks. :P
That UtaWarriors seems pretty interesting, I guess I'll give it a try out. As long as you can play with Kamyu and Touka it must be great.
Yeah, I think I've run into his/her/it's profile sometime.
