What's your current fav anime/manga? Or what are you currently enjoying the most etc? For both manga and anime.
I'm reading like homunculus, ravages of time, i just finished hellsing, lone wolf and cub, and half prince. Any of those you favourites? Or any recommendations for me? Manga and anime. but more manga. I don't really like mecha or kiddy shounen, unless it's really funny or good etc. I think naruto and bleach has currently gone too overpowered etc.
Seems like it's a pretty shit season for anime.

And it's jolly good too. The plot seems to be a bit lacking in direction right now though, but I'm sure the author has an interesting twist up his sleeve, what with all the slave and timeskip business.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes ? i heard about it, but i didn't watch it (110 episodes are too many for me :P maybe in the near future...).

Thanks mate. Yeah, i'm really enjoying it, probably my favourite show this season.
Also, i have no idea why people disliked my review, especially when i go into that much detail and explain my reasoning instead of just criticizing or praising it. Oh well, internet is like that i guess and more people would probably take action to thumbs down something than to praise something. I have a really big feeling it's Sengoku Basara fanboys thumbing me down since i criticized it in the review, and also did a negative recommendation on the Basara page lol. It is, it's for stuff I consider really complex and elaborate science fiction stuff :D. And thank you, it's nice to meet other LOGH fans, espically since it seems the series is geting more popular through word of mouth these days, which is good, cause just cause it's old doesn't mean it isn't awesome :3. What other kinds of stuff do you like? These days I'm not watching as much anime so much as reading manga and light novels, so maybe I can introduce you to some things!

Um, and yeah I hope you like Macross. There are many entry points even if it's not that long a franchise, or despite the whole thing is very linear.
I do suggest that the original series be your starting point, and put off Macross Zero for later. I hope you can appreciate how different it is/feels like from Gundam -- which is a great credit to its creators who, while back in university were the biggest Gundam otaku in Japan (Kawamori was the president of their Gundam club, not anime or manga club, not Genshiken, GUNDAM CLUB).

Hey there! Eureka SeveN is climbing my favorite hierarchy fast and fierce. It took out Zeta Gundam (there is even more slapping and violence among friendlies in Z than in 1st Gundam; it's quite remarkable really) in my top 5 which was a ridiculously difficult decision.
I've put on hold E7 for a short while (after ep35) because I want to finish writing the 3 posts I have in mind that I'll know I won't be able to write if I watch any more awesomeness.
I'm glad you enjoyed LotGH. There's a pretty awesome club here on MAL, which also tracks blog posts on LotGH accross the sphere. People like The Animanachronism's writer and lelangir are active in it. Check out the Legend of the Galactic Funnies thread.
