Ok, just to put it out there, I'm pretty sure that by the time I'm old enough to have grandkids, I'm still going to be addicted to anime/manga.....
Anyway, if my username doesn't clearly point it out, I'm currently addicted to the series Hunter x Hunter (the remake as a matter of fact). I wanted to join this website because I wanted to talk to other people about Hunter x Hunter as well as my other favorites.
My addiction to anime/manga started back when I was in...6th or 7th grade. (can't remember exactly darn it) Kodocha was my first manga and Fruits Basket was my first anime.
Random facts:
-I like chocolate
-I like shotas (...What? They're cute.)
-I like romance, fairytales, etc.
-I prefer Nintendo games over anything else
-LOVE the Zelda series despite never defeating ANY of the games lol
-I played the clarinet in high school
-LOVE pianos and guitars as instruments
-Turtles are cute...so are cats...dogs too.
-I'm lazy...wish I wasn't.
-I feel like I have a strange sense of humor...hmm
-On forums, reviews, etc, since this is my first time, I'll try to sound intelligent but I may end up sounding like a fan girl without any logic...I apologize in advance.
-When I've finished a series that I've been addicted to for so long, I'll feel like I'm dying a slow and painful death until I find another.
I think that about sums it up....oh wait, forgot one more thing, I like to draw.

And well Sakurasou is actually a shoujo, so if you´re not into these kind of anime you might not like it ;o; but but it´s really good ;w; i really like it because i can see myself in those characters, they face so many problems just like we do. It is a about a guy called sorata who lives in sakurasou, the dormitory for problem children at Sorata's school. One day, Mashiro Shiina who turns out to be a very talented and famous artist moves into Sakurasou. But she doesn´t know how to take care of herself so sorata has to protect her and take care of her :"D the plot might not be very interesting LOL but the characters are really likeable and the story is pretty realistic from my point of view! if you like shoujo you might like this anime as well <3
LOOL seriously? omg i understand how you feel XD i mean i have discovered it a long time ago but when i knew that they were going to do a reboot i was like O.O so damn happy and surprised xD happy because i thought that they might continue the story(animate the rest of the manga arcs) and i was right, i seriously can´t wait for the chimeras ants arc to start! And same here, i personally thought that that arc is the best arc of HxH so far and a masterpiece ;o; i LOVED it. I couldn´t stop reading so i read over 100 chaps in 2 days.... XD I think that it is the best arc so far because it has the best character development, you can see the "dark" and weakest side of Gon and the relationship between gon and Killua or they bond gets clearly stronger. I love how Killua understood that he might end up leaving Gon if they stay together and his will to protect him even if he has to risk his own life. I seriously love their bromance relationship, i find it so beautiful and charming ;-; And well the whole arc was dramatic, impacting, dark and bloody as well. That might be the reason why some people didn´t like this arc, i mean hxh was a really "happy" and "shiny" shounen till this arc (actually not, because the yorkshin´s arc was actually pretty bloody as well u.u"). The whole thing about giants ants eating humans was pretty shocking even for me, i was so shocked especially when pokkle and ponzu were.... ;-; (those guys who took the exam along with gon and killua T.T), but even so i couldn´t stop, i had to keep on reading and know what will happen next. The villains were extremely well introduced and some of them were even likeable.... (like meruem, i didn´t dislike him at all). It was a rollercoaster of emotions for me, there were sad and happy moments, i felt extremely bad when gon found out that kaito died, seriously TT.TT and imma stop now talking about this arc because i might never stop LOL xD (sorry for the long text that i have written ;w;)
Have you read the last chapter of the manga? the new future arc seems to be so so interesting ;w;
They really do that´s why i love them :3 They get along so well LOL, i´d say that they are just like sherlock and watson XD but yeah shinichi only has eyes for Ran u.u anyway i won´t feel bad if they end up together (which is most likely that they will LOL) because i find their relationship so lovely :"D just like you sad i just can´t hate them *w*

oh god same here ;-; well actually i´m keeping up with 3 animes DC hxh and sakurasou!! i don´t know if you´ve heard of the last one but it is pretty good ;3 about hunter x hunter i´ve been a fan since 2005 when i first watched the series (the old version of course xD) i loved it and i remember finding myself watching it again and again <3 i don´t know if you´ve watched the old version of hxh tho ;o; oh and about the manga did you get to read the whole chimera ants arc? *^*
aww well i love them so much because i find them the perfect team, i mean ai can understand how he feels and she can also help him during the cases *w* plus i really love haibara, i find her really cool and heartwarming at the same time ;o; I don´t dislike ran x shinichi tho, actually i really like ran as well <3 (well it is okvious that they will end up together ;w; -cries-)

Ahaha, definitely. I used to think people were exaggerating when they said that, but now it feels like just yesterday that I walked in as an itty bitty little freshman, and now I'm almost a senior.
Hahaha, it's pretty complicated at first. Basically, seeds are the number of people who are currently available to upload the file. The more the better. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. The difference in quality between streaming and downloading is incredible though :O
I know, I still have a lot of anime I need to watch O.O Yeah I actually just caught up to the Shingeki manga. It's awesome to say the least. :P I'm really excited for the anime, it looks pretty good. I just hope they stay true to the manga and don't deviate from it. (If you get a chance, check out the manga too)
Funny thing is, I think the exact same way. I can't tell you how much people who get in relationships or "do it" just for the hell of it irritate me. Hell, I mean, I'm at least average looking, but most 90% of the girls in my town just don't take relationships seriously. I'm probably sounding corny, but when I do get a girlfriend, she's going to mean the world to me. :P There's one flaw in your theory of "becoming friends first then becoming romantically involved": The hated friend zone.... xD
(enough of my ranting though)
Nice, what marital art? I was originally forced into it, but I grew to like it. I got to meet a ton of cool people (not to mention the bragging rights xD )
Well that's true, people do rely on you, but that's part of the fun of it. You win as a team, lose as a team, have fun as a team, party as a team, and cry as a team. The thing is, everybody's going to make a mistake sooner or later so there's no point in criticizing someone else for making one. But enough of my ranting. Hahaha, I actually like long replies. ^_^

i'm planning on watching hunter x hunter, do i watch the old version or the newer one? i added you cuz of great teacher onizuka, ahah it's awesome. you should read mind game, it's an intelligent manga. you should def try watching kaiji anime also

Hi, I just got my hands on some scans of that "Little Toybox" HxH doujinshi! =D I'll get on translating it right away! I dunno how long it'll take me, you'll see it appear on LJ eventually, but I'm so psyched about it right now that I HAD to let you know ASAP. ^^;
I just wish I could buy it for myself, I actually searched for it a lot, but it was sold out everywhere except for some Japanese auction sites which I can't use. TT_TT So I'm glad someone else was nice enough to upload their copy ^^
