FINALLY got around to finishing this season and with that Black Butler comes to a close. I've officially seen all the Black Butler anime content and I have to say... it has been a fun ride!!! This is definitely the best music/drama/singing/boy band anime out there, the best idol anime I have ever seen! I have yet to find one that can really surpass this with character development, production design, dialogue, friendship drama, and the music! Months later, and I still listen to the music from the show; it's that pretty!
--- I genuinely love every single character with my whole heart, and never felt bored for a single plot point. That is SO rare, because naturally, there's always that one "filler" episode or that one lame character we just zone out for in shows, but here, that is not the case! ...

AHHH what a show! I am literally down to scream about how amazing this show was. I was stunned! The animation is something out of a dream and the swoon factor.. is off the charts. I actually could have been knocked over with a feather at most of the scenes between our two main characters.

This has got to be the best idol anime and maybe even drama anime I have ever seen. The music is phenomenal and the characters.. I can't believe I'm saying this but I genuinely loved every single one of them! There was not a single boring moment and I was never disinterested. I can't believe how fast I binged this too!

This was a very average show. The plot was slow and I still have no clue what the purpose behind their routine was; were they trying to win or just perform because the ending was unclear...? I was bored half the time and the other half I was mildly interested in some of the bromance moments. I hated the random romance subplot, which was poorly done by the way, and the relationships did not go deeper than the surface level.
Compared to other recent sports anime, this was a bust. It's literally impossible to compare them but this was not the move. You could skip this ...

I am so pleasantly surprised with this. It was my first Chinese animation show, and I am shocked more people don't talk about it??? It was STUNNING: visually, emotionally, and plot-wise. The characters were all beautiful, the dialogue was hilarious and gripping, the plot was emotional and captivating, the music was gorgeous, and the entertainment value was 100%. I was completely obsessed with this show and could not stop watching. I had to literally pull myself away to get to my real life.

This is definitely not the best sports anime by a long shot but it was interesting enough to binge and be somewhat engaged with. I was intrigued with the plot and actually wanted to know what was going to happen. However, it definitely had its boring, generic moments and everything felt contrived, from the fan service, to the dialogue, to the "convenient" ending. You'll know what I mean if you watch this...
I think you should watch this if you like sports anime and enjoyed Free, but expect way less entertainment value. It's a low-budget version of Free tbh. I thought the art was nice, but ...

This was such a cute and beautiful movie. My best friend and I watched this last night, and our only complaint was that it was way too short!! It also rushed in pacing and some scenes felt confusing. The love story itself moved so fast so I wish this movie could have been a solid 1.5 hours; this way, all the plot points could have been spaced out better and made more sense, and that way we could see more solid character development.
However, the actual love story and conversations were so enjoyable. The drama was fun as well, and I loved watching the two characters ...

I want to start by emphasizing the art and music to this show is absolutely fantastic. I can not believe this show is so beautiful... it almost has no right to pop off that hard because the plot itself is mediocre and slightly boring at times. I admit I've no prior knowledge to "swords" or whatever game this show is based on but I was pretty bored and it took me forever to finish.
What kept me coming back was the amazing opening sequence (it's in my playlist and I listen to it non-stop) and the stunning art. The cherry blossom trees, the skies, the ...

I had a genuine blast watching this and felt so empty when it ended! Binged it all in one day -- laughed, cringed, and gasped through the entire plot. It's honestly such fun! Yes, there are a lot of "issues" with certain characters and the way they treat each other, but this is fiction and I don't think we should necessarily go out into the real world and replicate their love or something, but that doesn't mean it wasn't super entertaining to watch.
The romance was so realistic and well-developed, and not rushed at all. I think if you love a relationship that develops halfway ... |
