LOL, I am watching ep20 of Rose of Versailles right now, and when the vendor dude is selling the, er, naughty pamphlets about Marie Antoinette and Fersen, I immediately thought, "Oh man, he's hawking Antoinette x Fersen ero doujin."

You know, something I am really enjoying about Rose of Versailles is how it balances the melodrama (like Marie Antoinette getting her moe on with Fersen) and the crazy stuff that should piss anyone off with a heart (that Duke freaking shooting that little kid for stealing a bit of money). The focus on the decadence in Versailles makes the outside stuff more impactful. (I was like "OH HELL NO" when the Duke pulled out the gun, and my heart froze when he actually dares to pull the trigger. What a bastard.)

It's the game Aoba plays with Satomi High against that dream team of women's baseball players. The ace pitcher throws a high fastball to Aoba to intimidate her a bit, and the ump calls it a strike. WTF. It almost hits her ribs! What an asshole. He must have made a bet on that game.

Ep13 is an awesome pandering episode. It's totally just there so you can go, "OMG THERE'S THE FOX KID. OMG THERE'S NATORI" and so on, but I totally ate it up. Can't wait to start Zoku!
