Yeah I think I'll listen to Genesis tonight since you brought them up. I already really dig Yes though I haven't gotten into the King Crimson hype they are more hit and miss to me. I think with Styx it's just this reputation they somehow attained as the poster boys for corporate rock so people just hate on them because it's supposed to be cool to hate on them. I mean personally the 70s b a ND that I dislike most is The Sex Pistols but it's not entirely because of just the music though I do think Never mind the bullocks is below average.

Good choices. Queen is in my top 10. Genesis I really do need to give them a more thorough listen though I love every thing I've heard including the 80s stuff like Land of confusion. Styx is a band I think is great but gets way too much hate for some reason.

I'm odd in that I'm not really picky at all as long as it's pre-90s music. Once you get into the 90s I become more selective with what I enjoy mainly I think because I just didn't like a lot of the styles of music that emerged around that time. For the most part I listen to experimental rock though.

I couldn't narrow it down to 3. Actually tbh I can't do it with almost any of my favorite bands or artists lol.

Indeed and Flick of the wrist is a very underrated song.
