I have seen Attack on Titan: No Regrets physically when I visited a library before this pandemic happened. It was on my plan to read list too. It has Levi on the covers :S To get a closer glimpse of the supporting characters, we sometimes go to these spin-offs x)) I paused in the main story around the part where Grisha's background was revealed. Eren wasn't as fiery as before. :|

We could talk more about the details privately. If we watch on our own, we could talk about how many episodes to watch. Maybe have a schedule to not watch too fast? And our time zones don't seem that far apart actually x)

I heard about the author expressing imperialistic views, so I'm being mindful of that as well. I haven't encountered the spoilers to know the specifics though. I like it when I love the characters or when the story is centered on them. So, I'm not the biggest fan when the story is focused on a major event where a goal must be reached. Eren was a typical main character who wanted to kill the titans, while the others were interesting with their own backstories ;------; Anyway, I would definitely need to be in a certain headspace to engage with the Attack on Titan universe again :P

When I reread my comments on Attack on Titan: Lost Girls...I felt the codependency Mikasa had on Eren. It's understandable that Mikasa's attached to Eren (e.g. he encouraged her to survive) and she chooses to watch out for him, but from where I was at, I thought it would be great if she had her own reason for living that was separate from him. And Annie was sadly tied to her mission. It would have been nice to see these characters live without being restrained or controlled by others. :|

Hmm...I haven't really been starting new stories on my own either ._____. Are you interested in watching Carole & Tuesday? I heard that had excellent music and it had themes that related to our modern day :) If we both decide to watch this, how will this go? xD Are we watching this on our own and then coming back to talk about the episodes? If there is a time zone difference between us, it would be one factor to navigate :S

I saw your friend request. It's nice that you enjoyed the comments I made on every chapter of Attack on Titan: Lost Girls (manga adaptation) in February and June 2017 :) It's been a while since I engaged with that universe. Especially when the story got political, I took a break from the manga xD
