I am an anime reviewer, college student, copywriter and club DJ (hence, profile picture) who has been watching anime since 1994. My first anime series was Doraemon and it will stay with me as my favourite anime series of all time.
I am very open-minded. I watch anime from every genre out there, even if they don't even appeal to me. I took a hiatus from watching anime in 2008 but i go back into it after watching the first episode of Occult Academy. Ever since then, my love of anime has returned, and i've been watching animes ever since.
I watch subbed animes rather than dubs because although i enjoy certain dubs (like Cromartie and Bebop), i found an attraction to Japanese voices and i'm used to subtitles ever since i was a kid. I love watching foreign films from Europe and Asia, and watching foreign films require appreciation of the language. To me, that's the reason for me to enjoy subtitled animes because i appreciate the efforts of seiyuus in perfecting their craft along with their unique take on the Japanese language.

DAMN. I've built up a tolerance to most stupid stuff. I know people who can't get through a lot of anime that I can simply sit down for. I very rarely get pissed off at anything that much, even if it is crap. That isn't to say there isn't anything that I hate with a passion, because believe me, there's stuff out there I really hate. My least favorite anime of all time is something that most people wouldn't even put on their top 10 worst anime list. Mostly because it's a personal hatred rather then a universal one. To give you a hint on why I hate it, lets just say that it's the worst adaptation of a manga ever. That doesn't go into detail as to why I hate it, but that's the gyst of it.
But yeah, if you watch enough stupid or gross you just sorta get used to it. Although I wouldn't go out of my way to watch stuff that involves disgusting porn. I saw a review of a Serbian Film and that was enough for me. I would be scared to meet any of the makers of the movie in a dark alley.

I looked at your school days review. It was nice, although I have a question for you. You actually sat through" A Serbian Film"? Are you an extreme masochist or do you have a large tolerance for nasty stuff? XD

Nice "Jormungand" review, btw don't you think that Koko's love interest Jona should have had a middle eastern, Spanish or African name?
Besides he is a child soldier, and where do we find child soldiers these days? Where else but in Israel where the Palestinians are constantly engaging a hit and run battle with the Jews, Colombia were there are insurgents who are still engaging the gov't, Afghanistan where there are children who are members of Al Queda, in Syria where things are getting out of hand and in Chad where things are still messy especially.

I respect you SO much right now.
Black*Rock Shooter was indeed shit, and for all the reasons you listed on ep8 discussion. I gave it a 3/10.
Annoying and underdeveloped characters, terrible and convoluted story, and a ridiculous amount of melodrama! I hated it! Good to know others think the same.
Plus, our anime compatibility is dang high! :D
