i wish there would have been a 20th Century Boys anime but unfortunately there isn't one,i actually stopped reading the manga because i did not want to be spoiled if a anime will be released but i think i will start reading it again soon since no anime was released only a live-action movie but i am not that interested in those
since your last comment college has started here too,i really did not have enough time for anime and forums anymore,but i do check the name the anime threads here since i really enjoy guessing :D,yesterday was by far the busiest day but today i just had to go to college for two hours so i can maybe watch some anime ^^ what have you been doing lately?

i liked the ending of Monster a lot,the last arc that took place in the village is one of my favorite story arcs ever and even the last moments of Monster were great,i thought it had one of the most satisfying ending i saw,the moment when we see Johan wake up was quite creepy in a way,also Runge was great in the last arc, also Grimmer :( ,his final moments were very touching but i liked how in the end he got to feel like a human and at least that was a good thing,and there are still so many more great moments in just the last few episodes,this was truly an memorable anime
well since it is over you can read the manga :) ,i also plan to read it sometime and also you should try reading 20th Century Boys or Pluto both mangas made by the same mangaka who gave us Monster and both are just as great
i also watched some episodes of Elfen Lied,i think 5 of them,i can't say i liked it that much either,it is kinda a combination of everything you have drama,action,violence,horror,fanservice(a lot),comedy,you name it this anime has it XD but still i am gonna finish it sometime since it had it good parts too
So you have started Higurashi,it really seems like a nice slice of life in the beginning XD,so what do you think of the madness? i remember that in the first arc there were many moments that were actually quite creepy,i needed to get used to this anime,one moment it was peace and quiet and then all of a sudden the madness begins...
since u said you watched some shorter anime i actually did the opposite :D i watched all the subbed episodes of Hitman reborn,i forgot the last time i watched so many episodes in a week

yeah there are some anime that have such an ending with almost no conclusion that sometimes even if the anime was good the ending might change your whole impression on that anime
that is exactly why i liked Honey & Clover so much,i found it to be one of the most realistic romance,slice of life anime i have seen and i can relate to the some of its characters,i think it is almost impossible for someone not to relate at least a bit to some of the characters from H&C and the music is also great :D
i think i can identify myself with Takemoto and then Mayama the most,i really liked watching Takemoto grow and seeing his journey
i have not finished the Death Note manga,i started reading it before the anime was released but i found out about the anime that would come soon so i stopped reading and i stopped quite near L's death,so i guess that was a bit lucky however i found out about it on a forum before seeing it in the anime :( anyway i still have to finish the manga,maybe i will like the ending there better even if i also liked the one from the anime too
So i see you survived XD is everything all right with your computer now? i am still waiting for my monitor they still did not fix it by now but i will never buy anything from that store again :)

yeah ancient history may seem a bit mythical as we now cannot imagine some of the things that happened back then,we cannot imagine how come many impressive cities,buildings,monuments were made during that time
well if you want you could use this kanji dictionary kanji dictionary ,it helped me register a lot faster :)
Cowboy Bebop is great and so is Spike :D ,i liked the ending it is not really a closed one it lets the viewer,to a degree,choose how he want to interpret the final scenes,it was kinda sad to see Spike's last moment but even then it was an awesome one and i prefer to imagine a ending where he died,even if sad but it has a lot more meaning as he is finally free now at the end
Death Note ^^ another anime i love and Light/Kira is one of my favorite characters ever not really because i agree with his actions but because he is such a captivating anti-hero,he is a new type of main character in the anime world so different and in a good way...but even so this anime shows again that a human even an extraordinary one is corrupted by power,Light's might have honestly thought that he could actually make the world a better one that he could change it(he did for a while) but he becomes just a tyrant,he shows no mercy to anyone in the end he is full of poison and as much grace and charm as he had during the series his final moment is a quite disturbing and painful one to see,i don't think i was shocked that he died but what was shocking were his last moments,when he came to realize that he can't do anything o escape that he has failed,something that never happened to him before that was what truly hard to see but even so he remained a great character that wanted to try to chance the world and i cannot say that he could be blamed for that
and overall this anime is a great example about moral conflicts and how power corrupts and the Death Note may be more of a symbol
yeah i like the ED of SZS too,you should check the 2nd amv in my amv section it is a SZS themed amv it does not contain any spoilers,anyway i overall like SZS it is so different from most comedies,i like its smart humor and parodies i am watching the 2nd season right now after a great 1st ep i did not enjoy the next 2 episodes so much but with ep 4 i like it again

Don't worry you might think that they let you know what will happen in Monster or you might think you finally understand a lot more but you will always be surprised by watching Monster there are still a lot of twists until the end and it won't just be silly twists like a lot of anime like to use,everything will make sense and almost everything will seem somehow realistic
i love to see the people who were in contact with Johan,all of them are changed by him almost all say he is a true monster but they also see him as some sort of god but in some of the cases the results are very sad
i like everything when it comes to history from ancient to modern and also even myts but maybe i prefer the ancient and medieval history more than the modern it just has a different feel if i can say so,anyway i always found history very easy to learn and very interesting i actually was quite close to go to a history related college but i decided that in my country it would be to hard to have a future in that field
nowadays it was interesting to observe the Russia,Georgia conflict even if Russia's actions are regrettable and dangerous even in the near future since many neighbor countries of Russia are not in good relations with it and everything is possible ...
Egypt might be indeed a region where it is to hot and i hate walking when it is too hot outside but for the sake of the pyramids and other historic monuments the heat would not matter anymore and yeah England,Scotland and other country's with a similar climate and landscapes would be great to visit the mountain regions of those country's are perfect :D
true it is soon to tell anything about FMA yet especially since most shounen anime need a lot of time to develop but this one is quite different from most shounen series since it also touches some very interesting and dark themes but still the high rating i gave it is thanks to the fact that it was very entertaining to watch,oh yeah i don't know if you heard but Bones is doing a FMA series that will be released very soon and will follow the manga(or so i heard) since the one you currently watch does go in a different direction at one point(not sure when since i have not read the manga) and i can't wait to see if it will be as good as this one

Hi again glad to hear you had fun
so it's very hot in the mountains there too during this period,last week i think i had two of the hottest days in this summer while i was away out of town and enjoying a trip of a few days(arrived home yesterday) and also visiting some friends in a mountain region during two of those days the heat was unbearable at least i got another tan my skin is quite dark now but i don't have any problems with the sunburns even though many had,guess the sun loves me XD
this hot springs are quite nice,the scenery is beautiful but hot springs are not that popular here to the younger people if you want to see some of the view's of the town where the hot springs are located you could just type Herculane on google and look at some images but yeah i would like to try a japanese one it just has a different feel
you're right the summer is almost over,the weather here is already starting to become colder but i bet it is only for a short period since the sunny days will last at least until the middle of october or even more
so true ep.44 was quite shocking in a way :D Johan is so evil and he is the perfect villain he does not even have to kill himself
Monster really has many moments that keep you on the edge of your seat,many tense moments and you see things you would have never expected, in ep. 46(checked a blog to be sure) we got to see the Magnificent Steiner :D but still now when we find more about Grimmer and his past i could not but feel sorry for him since almost all of his life was sad eve if he always has that smile
also Runge was one of the characters i did not like (Eva too of course) since he kept hunting Tenma without carrying if he was innocent,he wanted Tenma to be the murderer since that gave a meaning to his life and he was obsessed with his work and that was all his life even if he had a family but even so he is a memorable character and he does develop until the end
Serial Experiments Lain is great so far,you either hate it or love it but i still have to finish it and now i decided to not start many more series and try to finish some that i already have on hold
well you might find the avi version of xxxholic kei on shs site the group that finished subbing it i really don't know any other source
the country i would like to visit the most!!?? i really would like to visit more than one :) ,Japan is definitely one of them i am not sure if i would like to live there but i would love to visit it,there are tons of things i would like to see and do there also other country's that might be interested to go to are maybe Egypt since i love history,maybe Scotland,even some parts of China also there are some ruins in Peru that i would like to visit.How about you?

who knows maybe they just did not try enough with the Mushishi movie anyway i know how it is to be interrupted during a movie,i hate it,sometimes it passes a long of time until i finish watching it because of that
well there are some modern bands i listen too but maybe not all as much as the ones i mentioned,some of them are: The Killers rarely,Nickelback i like this ones a lot,Maroon 5 their last album is good but i think some of their older songs are even better,Gorillaz they have a few songs i like,Evanescence,Nightwish and in rest just random songs
Recent anime songs i like !!??.......oh yeah the op from xxxHolic Kei is great and so is the ed i downloaded the 1st one,also the op from Wolf's rain is great too Stray i think was the name of the song and the last one is the op from Serial Experiments Lain
I love those tense moments in Monster and the episode with Nina reading that book The Nameless Monster together with the library episode was so great and Johan is such a magnificent villain ,i see you're on ep.40 that means you already saw Grimmer another great character one of my favorite and he is so awesome you will see :D
Nice you'll get to see the mountains again have fun :) i was for a small visit away near my town i went to the a hot spring they are quite near my city but it was only for a day and i am not sure if i will decide to spend more time there or go somewhere else maybe visit some relatives that stay somewhere where i would enjoy it who knows i will see next week or so :D but i have time since the college starts in october
I guess you were indeed tired if you started talking about the symmetry of by birthday but people are kinda amazed or curious don't know how to say it when i tell them such a simple date,some actually ask twice XD but yeah i like my date too if i can say so :D

i don't really think i will watch the Mushishi live-action it seems like it has some nice visuals but still i prefer not to watch it but tell me what you thought of it when you finish it :)
i used to have more MTV channels(4 i think) but now i only have one and some other music channels anyway i started being more interested in music and listening to music more since high-school,then i liked Linkin Park a lot but only for two years or so then i liked Green Day and i still like this band but i just don't listen to Linkin Park anymore it just does not sound good,neither the old songs or the new,i changed i guess :D, after that a friend who liked System of a Down a lot got me interested in the band and it became on of my favorite bands ever since(another thing we gave in common ^^) and finally another group of my friends liked a lot older rock bands and i started to like some of those bands too:Eagles( Hotel California - i love that song and it is the only song i ever listened from this band),Guns 'n Roses,Red Hot Chili Peppers(yeah i know not that old of a band),The Rolling Stones,Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd ...quite well known bands and another band i just started listening to recently is Metallica,so most are older bands when it comes to new music i listen from time to time everything from rock,pop hip-hop in general every song that sound good to me :D
I also listen to Japanese music but i can't say i have some favorite bands or singers,here are some of the J-bands i like: The Pillows,L'Arc~en~Ciel,Home Made Kazoku and that is all i can remember now :) do you have any favorites when it comes to J-music or you don't like it that much ?
i would like at least some mangas to be in the bookstores in my city but not even one manga,it just isn't that popular here but oh well ...
when u look at a map it does not look that far between our country's but true in fact it is far XD i will send you anime by thought :p
i know the moments you talk about in xxxHolic and yeah maybe they were kinda annoying but i still enjoyed it a lot,Himawari is not really one of the characters i like that much in this anime,i don't hate her i don't like i think she was ok but nothing special but Yuuko and Watanuki are definitely for me the best characters of the series closely followed Doumeki,Watanuki is always so funny i especially remember the snow fight episode(hilarious episode) in that Mokona was also very funny(but Mokona is also very funny most of the time),another episode i liked was the one when the told ghost stories and the two part story before the last episode was very good too and very touching and i really can't remember any other mostly because it passed some time since i saw this anime.Do u have any episodes that u liked more than others?
Morita is probably the funniest character from Honey and Clover and one of my favorite characters from the anime,i think this anime has quite easy names or at least i still know most of the character names so i am sure you will get used to their names fast.Hagumi!!??......even now i can't say much about her,she had some great moments in the 2nd season and she does change quite a lot and i like that,she becomes more likable after you learn more abut her and her past and even if almost all the characters are great she is not one of my favorite,i am not sure if you will like her but i think she evolves a lot so i neither think you will dislike her.Morita,Takemoto and Mayama are my favorite and i also like the professor Shuuji(also a ver funny character) a lot and Rika also(don't know if you saw her yet),i think in this series people like the characters they can identify more with
btw it seems like i forgot to tell you but very nice new profile pic,i really like the look on her face and the colors used look great :D

nice you finished Mushishi :D
Mushishi is one of the few anime that i rewatched some episodes,my favorite episodes now....*thinking*...well i really like the ones that take place during the winter,the snow i love it so the one with the horns is one of them,then there is the snow episode when there is a change from winter to spring that was just beautiful,then the one with the mountain's God a truly awesome episode it was quite sad to see how Ginko could not do anything to stop the old mushishi's sacrifice and once again it shows that the power of the gods is to much for a human,the ones that tell is more about Ginko's past are also great i especially also liked the one when he lost his eye,the episode with the green mushi a creepy episode but those mushi were very interesting and t also provided quite a realistic view on the world this anime is set in
i bet i forgot some episodes but Mushishi is full of great moments and each episode is great in its own way but i did watch it more than a year ago :)
btw i think Ginko is a great character,some don't like him can't really think why maybe because he is so different from almost all main characters but i like the way he is,calm,he enjoys his life,there was no need for any internal conflicts and the funny faces he makes are rare but i like them :D

Anime has become a bit more popular here in the last few year(2-3 years)it was around that time that we got a anime tv channel but it only broadcasts anime starting 7 pm(not sure since i don't really watch it)
Believe me i have a lot more on my hdd and because i am too lazy sometimes or i just forget to delete them so i have more anime and manga on my hdd than anything else and now my internet speed has doubled :D to bad that i cannot use all my speed to download an episode since most download sites have a somewhat limited speed at which u can download
not sure if i would go to AnimeCon especially if it is in another country,there is a kind of a similar gathering here in my country it is called nijikon never been maybe because it is in the capital and it is quite far from my city and because anime is not that popular it will be hard to have such an event in my city even if it is one of the largest in my country but it should be interesting to go at least once
about cosplay not sure if I would do it,i like seeing cosplay but there is also a lot of bad cosplay i don't see why fans like to cosplay when the final result just does not look good and that is what is most important when it comes to cosplay or at least so i think,maybe i would cosplay if i would have been in a country more familiar to the anime and the culture but i would only choose characters that would fit me best,the 1st one i can think of is Col. Mustang(FMA i don't think u saw it)or a more normal character but still cosplay is more something i like to watch than to do.How about you?Any anime gathering in your country?
