Man, characters like Taiga annoy me so much...

The ending of Toradora! is even better! *Spoiler-cough* :D

Zero | 11-06-09, 3:03 AM
I heard of Toradora but it does not look like something i would enjoy watching and when it comes to Bleach, nowadays even the manga is just getting worse and worse, the mangaka pulls out of his hat all the shounen cliche you can think of and the anime is just full of fillers,i am not sure if i will continue with the anime, maybe i will keep on reading the manga since i want to see how much more ridiculous it can get xD

The Stephen King books i got are Salem's Lot,Pet Sematary,Christine and Shining.I started reading Salem's Lot on my PC but i really hate doing that so i just ordered the book.I also started reading The Creature by John Saul, don't know if you are familiar with him, still after 180 pages i have to say that the book is not impressive at all,it's suppose to be horror but it's not even trying to be scary, creepy,i just got tired of it.

btw Stephen King must really love to see his books be adapted into movies since most of them have already been made into movies, except his most loved series,The Dark Tower, that i have yet to try reading and see how good it really is. Still most of his adaptations are quite week,Shinning is probably one of the best horror movies and he said he does not like the adaptation :( ,also Misery is my 2nd favorite book adaptation,i'll have to get the book too.

Also i remember you liked fantasy books(or so i think :) ),i say this because i want to read some but i am not familiar with the genre,i started recently a fantasy/sci fi book The Left Hand of Darkness and i like it so far and i want to read more fantasy books, any recommendations ? also no Tolkien :)

Don't worry,i don't mind,been lazy myself :)
Glad to hear that the time in London influenced you in such a good way,you sound very positive and that is great,in the end it is your life and not doing something you wish so much for would be a shame, just like there are changes of not succeeding there are changes of everything turning out just great,i can only wish you good luck .
So did you also visit different places while you were there, any favorite ones?

Many things happened here while we did not talk.Mostly good things, the only bad thing was that i had a toothache and my dentist was on holiday :) ,but she came back after a week. Also my house was in renovation for more than a month but now i am really pleased with it,it looks just great. Also one of my cousins came to visit,he's 8 years old i think,he had so much energy,he kept on running and playing all day,it was quite fun actually. That is kinda all i can remember right now :) oh yeah,i also bought a bed that is not really that great,it does look great but it's not that comfortable,in a few months i will go buy one myself, can't trust no one when it comes to my comfort :)

When it comes to anime i have not watched that many for the past few months, maybe a few movies and ova's,also Guin Saga, quite a good fantasy anime, still i read some manga and still plenty of great ones left to read . I noticed lately i am reading a lot more regular books,i finished reading my first sci-fi a few weeks ago, also i finally decided to start reading some Stephen King novels,i ordered some of them a few days ago, initially i wanted just 1 or 2 but in the end i ordered 4 and also some other horror books, one from John Saul,if you know him,and from some french horror writer that i can't remember his name right now.

No problem,I completely understand :)
I don't think i ever asked and now i am curious, what do you study ?

I like most flavours when it comes to ice cream, one flavour I don't like is caramel and also coffee, anyway when it comes to a mix what i really like is vanilla + chocolate + strawberry.I am not really a fan of sweet things, the only ones i enjoy eating are ice cream and chocolate, other cakes and stuff not really.

btw i think the Poland cycling tour is right now on tv,maybe if i have some time i will manage to see some of your country's landscapes ^^

England! That's nice :)
Planes!!! People were really not meant to fly!
If i would go to England right now i don't know what would scare me more, flying or the swine flu XD

The weather here was terrible, quite cold, raining, storms, now it is incredibly hot, around 40 °C,i am not really in the mood for anything, certainly not anime or manga, just having some cold drinks, some ice cream*i love ice cream* and chatting with some friends, not really much in this heat...

Hope you have a lot of fun there and i look forward to hearing some of your stories and maybe some of the expressions you said you learned there :)

A late happy birthday from me :) Glad to see you had a lot of fun and it seems it was quite a special birthday.

I can't say i hate dancing,it's just it is not one of the things that i enjoy that much, still i do dance if i am in the right mood.
Dancing classes!? wow...now that is one thing that is on my list of most unlikely things i'll do during my lifetime,i really think there's like 0,5 % chance,ok maybe i exaggerate a bit lol,but it is more probable that i will do many extreme sports and not dancing classes during this life :)
So do you have any specific dance classes in mind ?

College is over here too,the exams went fine even if this time i was quite bored of learning, the things i had to learn were not that interesting, still no problems as i payed attention during the semester at classes :)
The weather is terrible here too, this morning i woke up thanks to a thunder :) later it will probably be incredibly hot but cloudy,i hate that. It's been like this for more than a week,i remember last sunday i had plans to go to a lake, also just stay in the sun, play some football and get a tan, people say i look better with a tan XD but just out of nowhere it started raining....this plans of mine :)

So how's Fate/stay night? I think it is one of the 1st anime i got to finish when i started watching anime again after a looooong period, back then i really liked almost every anime XD

We really have a weird system when we 1st start scholl(from year 1 to 4),we use words and not numbers XD ,the lowest score we can get is "scarce",followed by "sufficient",then comes "good" and "very good".Then from the 5th grade to the end of high-school we have scale from 1 to 10,it's kinda like the scoring system here on MAL,but during important exams(like the one i mention that i got a 9.30) the score is not rounded to its nearest value. In college we still have the 1 to 10 scale but with a few minor differences.Right now your system does sound a bit weird too :) it's probably natural as i am not familiar with it at all.

Well,if The da Vinci code was better than Angels and Demons then the later one must be really bad,i remember that i saw The Da Vinci Code with some friends back when it was first released and i almost fell asleep,i actually had high expectations of it :(
Anyway, have you watched the Pixar films released over the last few year?i heard a lot of good things of Ratatouille,WALL·E and now they released Up,but i still have not tried watching any of this movies, have no idea why.

I am not really a fan of parties in a club,i guess it depends on the type of the club but i also am not really a fan of dancing but oh well,i guess if i drink a bit you can convince me to dance... a bit XD but overall clubs are not really a place i enjoy to have a party,i probably enjoy the most going to home parties and maybe also outdoors, restaurants are ok too, overall it seems clubs are the only places i don't really like and most of the times i prefer not to go.Also i can't say i like taking care of the planning of a party,i have a few every year at my house but i am never the one with the planning :D there is always someone who does that and i am not the type that complains about how the party will turn out to be,i know that things will never go as planned, what matters most is not letting that be a bother . Do you have any places you prefer to have a party or you don't really care? Btw good luck with your party and i hope you will have fun.

I also don't believe in all that bad luck stuff either,i mean there is a superstition that if you leave home and you remember you forgot something you should not go back and get it,but just before an important exam i forgot something(i have no idea what right now) and i went back home to get it and at the exam i got a 9.30 :) ,anyway all this superstition stuff is mostly believed by very few people nowadays,we live in an age of science and logic so it only natural .About aliens,i can't say i don't believe in them, however it is scientifically impossible for them to look like the movie creators imagine them, but the universe is large and infinite so i don't see why there could not be any other life forms, still i have never been much of an sci-fi fan i prefer the supernatural and even if i don't believe in ghosts and other monsters i still find it fascinating ^^

Spiders!really!? my brother also hates them :) i remember i used to tease him quite a lot when we were younger, using a spider toy that looked very real :D
I can't say i have a fear of any insect or animals,i don't like bees that much since they sting,i don't really like anything that stings my body,oh well XD

Oh! Congratulations then, dear aunt :) So is it a boy,a girl? you must be happy.

Btw i finally watched some movies,i watched 4 Hitchcock movies,he truly is the master of suspence, until a week or so ago i only saw 2 movies of his,now i can't get enough of his movies, you should also try some if you have the time,i recommend M for murder if you have not seen it yet, brilliant movie.

In the last few years i have rarely been sick, some years ago 4-5 i used to catch a cold or be sick almost every winter i remember once even during the summer XD,quite often i think ,but nowadays i really am not that sensible and i rarely get sick,i forgot the last time i had to stay in bad because i had a cold.About allergies...no problems so far :)
How about you? also how about superstitions ? do you believe in ghosts,aliens... all that stuff?

When i think about relaxing anime the first one that comes to mind must be Aria,it's so calming, also Kamichu is another lighthearted anime, but Natsume maybe is a bit more dramatic at times and indeed Natsume is one of those anime that have an impact on the viewer,it is rare to find such anime nowadays and even harder to find anime that leaves you thinking as the episode ends, there are some anime that really mess with your head and make you think a lot but those are quite different from Natsume, more mature anime, let me know if you want me to list some of them.
btw you will probably like Haibane Renmei,in the beginning it is slow and lighthearted like Natsume but after 4 episodes it becomes more serious, the drama is just the best,i think this one fits exactly on what you are looking for.

Just like today's anime old-school anime have their unique flaws too, there are many anime who have a great premise but fail to deliver what you expected, and most of the old-school ova's and movies can be quite violent and some don't like that, but one thing is for sure, the action scenes will be satisfying and entertaining and the animation will look great too, most of the times. When you think of watching some old-school movie try the GitS movie, one of the most influential anime ever made.
Btw i finally found an ongoing anime that is just awesome,it's Eden of the East, the 1st 4 episodes were amazingly good.

Deviantart is quite cool, one can find many useful things there, tutorials, brushes, great pictures, fanart and many other nice stuff. When it comes to anime/manga resources i also visit Minitokyo and sometimes animepaper even if there is a download limit on the later one.

Yes,dogs can be quite a problem ,but at least where i live this problem has been taken care of a few years ago, still there are cities that still have a problem with stray dogs.
I guess i can be seen as quite cautious too since most of my friends have broken some bones in their lives but i never broke any bones so far and i intend to keep it that way ^^

Natsume Yuujinchou was a very good anime,i remember back when i started the 1st season i marathoned all the episodes that were available at that time(10 or so),it is a very heart-warming and relaxing anime but it also has some touching stories,i liked that mix,but i find the stories of the 2nd season to be a bit more superficial, not bad but i think the 2nd season has more relaxing stories and a bit more comedy i kinda miss the bittersweet feeling of some of the stories from the 1st season, still both season are great. What do you think of it so far?
Right now it seems i got in the mood to watch some old-school OVA's and movies,i must say the 1st one i watched was quite bad,too much unnecessary nudity and violence, still the animation was great, the animation on the 80's and 90's is the best :D

About that picture,i got it from here ,i like it quite a lot,i used it on my desktop for some time too :)

Zero | 05-30-09, 3:04 AM
I really don't feel that comfortable near stray dogs and unfortunately stray dogs are a problem of our country and also quite a dangerous one,it is really too bad because just dealing with the more simple things in a country would make it worth visiting for tourists but as it is now there are very few places i would ever recommend someone to visit.
Anyway there is no scar from the dog that bit me but i do have a scar from when i had my appendix removed,i was 13 and that was the only time i stayed in a hospital bed,i still remember how incredible boring it was,and also i have a small scar near my chin but it is only noticeable if i tell you where to look exactly,i got that one when i was very little and i was playing/running with some friends in a house that had antique furniture for sale,as we were running we touched a set of tables,it was three tables that were put one above the other and they fell and i got hit on my chin,i guess it is like the Seinfeld scene where a knife accidentally gets in the air and one of the characters says "heads up" and just like Seinfeld i looked up XD,now it's really funny,i think some of the other kids broke his arm or something. So did you have any accidents, dog bites, snakes maybe :D ?

So far i did not skip any of the fillers from the long ongoing series i mentioned,Hitman Reborn had quite a few boring fillers too(overall the start of this series can make you wanna stop watching),with Naruto i dropped it when i found out that there will only be fillers until the end but i don't think i will continue with Shippuuden,in Bleach i watched all the fillers but from what i saw on a blog the fillers that come after the episodes i got to watch can be quite bad so i am not sure i can sit through the boredom, also i prefer reading the manga both in the case of Bleach and Naruto,so what interests me the most is seeing some of the battles animated :D,anyway i have to say with One Piece i never thought of skipping the fillers,i guess i am to much of a One piece fanboy but some of the fillers are really good and they are still funny,i think it is important that if you make fillers for such an anime is to at least make them funny.
Also i have to say that when it comes to shounen-fighting anime from time to time i like to watch some that actually end,for example HUnter X Hunter,Kekkaishi,Soul Hunter, the last one i still have to finish.

Zero | 05-29-09, 1:27 AM
Well,i am used to relatively bigger dogs since when i was a kid my family had a german shepard, but the only dog that bit me so far was a small one, some sort of pekingese dog,it came out of nowhere while i was playing soccer XD ,that happened quite a long time ago...
Actually right now it's quite cold here, the last two days it rained and the sun seems to have gone somewhere else for the moment, anyway it is nice to have a few colder days.

My cousin is quite an animal lover and my uncles have a farm so i guess that makes it easier for them to own a horse, from what i know here too the horses can be quite expensive,i guess the price depends on the age and the breed of the horse and i really think one has to spend a lot of money if they have a horse, the food and the other things it needs.

College here ends sometime in the middle on june or so,now i have a few days free from college and then i have some final exams and it's finally over here.
Btw since you mentioned the long ongoing anime like Bleach and i finished the last two episodes of Supernatural(ended with a huge cliffhanger again and it's on top of my watch list for the next season...again) i got in the mood to catch up with One Piece ,i almost forgot how fun it can be,i missed its comedy, but if i were to start right now a anime like Naruto or One Piece that has so many episodes i really doubt i would have the motivation :) even with Bleach that i am quite far behind, when i will try to catch up with it i will probably skip the fillers.

Zero | 05-25-09, 2:52 AM
I have been thinking of getting a dog,i am more of a dog lover than any other pets, i used to have 3 cats and 2 dogs, not all at the same time :) but over a long period of time,i actually don't have any pets for more than 4 years,so now i have decided to make the score equal and get a dog, most probably a siberian husky,i always thought of getting a husky, they are such beautiful dogs and they also have a great personality.

Actually i did get to try horse riding, can't say i loved it or hated it,it was somewhere in between those two,i did not really trust that horse XD but i was quite young back when i 1st tried it,however i never thought of trying it again,i guess it's one of those things that you find interesting but trying it once is enough :) still i do like horses and i get to see them from time to time since my cousin has some.

When it comes to the number of movies i used to watch in the past (like 2 years ago) and the number of movies i watch now i am quite surprised too,if i watch 1-2 movies a moth right now that is a pretty good number, also with games it's even more extreme,i have played like 2 games in the last year or so and i don't think i spent more than 15 minutes on those games and they were great games, not to mention the last time i actually finished a game,i think my father played more games than me in the last year :))

Zero | 05-22-09, 1:47 AM
Hi there, indeed it's been quite a while since we last talked so glad to hear you're doing so well, here it's incredibly hot for quite a while,it's around 35°C every day,no rain in ages...i just want some rain ...

Actually no really big changes here lately, college is boring in general,at least the classes are,i still can't say i have decided what i will do this summer i am not really a fan of making holiday plans,i did however decide do get a pet :) do you like them? hate them?do you have any pets?

Also over the last few weeks i almost watched no anime at all,the episodes i added to my list are mostly the ones that i forgot to add back when i watched them,i did watch a few anime movies but overall i really can't get in a mood to watch anime anymore, most of the new ones really don't look that good,i am quite disappointed with anime especially with new series, there are still some interesting looking older anime that i do plan to watch whenever i will get in the mood but i don't think it will be that soon, anyway i really do enjoy reading manga right now, there's a lot more variety when it comes to manga, there's tons of great manga ^^ I did also watch some tv-shows,actually mostly just one and it's a sitcom:How I met your mother, don't know if you heard of it or if you like sitcoms but i was surprised by it,it's just great, most of the sitcoms are quite mediocre,at best decent so i was really glad to find a sitcom like this one :D and yeah i think i am gonna finish the 4th season of Supernatural quite soon,i only got like 5 more episodes to watch.
Have you watched any tv-shows or movies lately ?

Zero | 02-17-09, 1:20 PM
The break is fun so far, finally i can relax a bit,i also have some time to watch some anime and i just finished reading a few manga volumes

i saw a trailer of Tamago no Tenshi a while ago and i thought it looked very interesting and its director is Mamoru Oshii,he's a genius,so i am most definitely gonna watch this movie sometime, you should also try more of his work if you liked this movie

Light movies!!?? can't say that many come to my mind right now,but lets see....maybe Hot Fuzz (it's hilarious),Stardust,Burn After Reading ,Little Miss Sunshine, maybe even Iron Man it's just pure entertainment nothing really more, can't say i am that good when it comes to light movies

i was just about to ask how come you have not sen more drama anime like Kanon,Clannad,Air or Ef until now,but i just noticed that you did started Clannad,i am also thinking of watching a good drama/romance (i want to watch something different) and True Tears looks nice,i think i might give it a chance sometime
