First off, I absolutely agree. Overlord is one of the better isekai, but not the anime. Put simply, I'm not a fan of the cut corners. I still watch it out of respect for the series and that is why I haven't dropped it. Usually if I hate an anime I don't even qualify to give it a review because I won't make it past the first episode.

So ultimately, watch and review are different for me. I have given my fair share of recent high reviews. However, I can't always be motivated to write a review for them. Usually because of time and circumstance. If other people have already said what I would have, I refrain from commenting. The complaint is noted though, and I have a more favorable review planned for something airing this season.

Not sure if that's the 2nd ending, but its the main ED song. And I agree that it's a bop that I didn't gave it much more love in my review, sorry about that.

Hello, thanks for giving positive feedback about my ratings. I might have some bias from my past self when I started anime and halfway through where I was. Great Pretender was amazing but the ending was kind of a letdown (i see you watched it). There’s people who also purposely try to ruin an anime’s reputation or overhype one which I don’t like when people do that. Tomodachi Game is a special case and is really peculiar from any other I’ve seen/read so far. Most people will say it’s just a rebranded squid game with MrBeast as the host but in reality it’s much more than that. Not to mention that the manga came before things like Squid Game or Among Us even existed.

Monster is a long journey and really has a great storyline, but it can be boring to some since it’s not the action you expect. Tell me what you think about it when you watch. I am also thinking of watching Gurren Lagann so wish me luck.

As for the Tomodachi Game manga I believe it gives more story and you will probably understand the characters more compared to the anime. Besides Yuuichi’s facial expressions in the manga I believe it gives more details that you miss in the anime since the pacing in the later episodes are a bit rushed. Overall, OP and ED are probably the best this season has to offer and hope they can continue with a season 2. If you were to read the manga I would start all over although they pretty much covered everything in the 2nd game. If you get to chapter 95 here are fan translations from Reddit since the original isn’t caught up. (96-101)

From a quick look at your PTW I would recommend prioritizing Ghost in the Shell, particularly Stand Alone Complex. :)
