As a die hard fans of the original series, this movie is a HUGE disappoinment for me, not because Lelouch come back alive, but because after he was revived he acted as if nothing happened after his presumed death (like, he literally turned back to his old self, without confliced emotions which is a huge appeal of the original series). Also the way Suzaku punched him the first time he saw Lelouch again is so BS, I mean why tf you're worried about him the whole time even though you (and everyone else) already accepted that he's death.

This was an OK anime, some comedies were too stupid to laugh about, even kinda cringe in some points. Romance? Forget about that, they didn't spent enough time to build up the romance between the characters so if you're looking for a romance then you've come to the wrong place. The hardship the characters went through were too easy to predict the how the outcome will be. Characters depth was basically nonexistent and there's no emotional impact either. The good things about this anime were the animation, and I also liked the character design.
To put it simply, it's just an ok fanservice anime with predictable ...

This is how a romcom anime should be, It's simply a fun anime to watch, the way they wanted the other person to confess their love is so hilarious, I loved the side characters too (Chika is soo damn cute, and I could relate with Ishigami a lot). It's not an anime that focused on character developments so it's more focused toward their everyday's love conflict. The animation is so well done it helped a lot making the comedy funnier. This is a great adventure anime, I liked the concept of the abyss and the fantasy behind it, each levels were so different and it made you curious about what really existed in the bottom of it, and would they meet her mother? (or more like is her mother really alive?). But it's not as dark as people said tho since I've watched much darker animes before (Mitty's story is nothing compared to Nina Tucker imo), except for episode 10 which I agreed is a GOLD. I can't say much about character developments but their innocence was probably intended by the authors, since exploring the unknown ...

The worst romance anime I've ever watched, the writing is a terrible mess, first it wasted 2 episodes on an unimportant loli character (yes the story would be perfectly fine without her since she didn't affect the other character's development).
And the character development itself is pretty slow, it hints the main characters past but it drags on for too long, by the time it came it's already the last episode so it feels so rushed and I don't feel any emotional impact from it, the build up for the climax was simply not enough. This anime turned out to be much better than I expected. Actually I dropped this anime years ago after watching the first 2 episodes because it started off as a very typical romcom, I'm so glad that I decided to finish it now, the first 1/3 part of this anime is pretty typical & cliched, but after that it keeps getting better and better, episode 16 is when things got seriously REAL.
Character developments is great (both the mc, minorin, ami, kitamura, even the student council's pres and Ryuuji's mother got great development). great romantic development (It went from romcom to romance-drama) and the comedic parts ...

ONE OF THE WORST ANIME I'VE WATCHED.
I'm being serious here. Basically it's about the journey of our mc and the heroine to collect 12 swords (1 episode=1 sword). So what makes it terrible in my opinion? First off let's start with the action, even though it's an action anime it's actually 95% dialogue 5% action, are you hoping for an epic fight? then you shouldn't watch this anime because it doesn't exist here, the enemies got defeated very easily (sometimes it doesn't even shown on screen, yes it's that ridiculous). But I might still be able to accept that (since I really liked Zetsuen no Tempest ...

Definitely one of my favorite action anime, this anime is so underrated!
The characters were very well-written, first we have Yoshino which has Ayanokoji-level intellect (genius but also very cunning), he's strangely calm in all situation but it will be explained why he's like that and he's definitely a strong mc, then there's his best friend Mahiro which all he care for is to revenge his sister's death, he's the man who can't be moved not even by the world's fate, the last is Aika (Yoshino's gf and Mahiro's sister) she's a very mysterious character and her death has a huge role to the story. While this anime is not as bad the reviews, I kinda get why it has a low rating. First it lack details, we just watch the story going without given enough background to connect with the characters, we just kinda guessed throughout the whole series and it's not even a mystery anime, by the time the truth came out I already didn't care enough for the character to get all emotional.
Honestly I LOVE sad animes (like Anohana, Angel Beats, Clannad, and Plastic Memories to name a few) but this one just kinda didn't get it right, while it has a heavy plot strangely it didn't ... |
