So I've just finished Kono Oto Tomore, and it's way better than I expected! It has the competition vibe as Haikyuu, a warm friendship and comedy as ReLIFE, a sweet atmosphere as Fruits Basket and the character development is just great!
The first season is finished but second season is still airing, with only first episode came out. If you've finished first season, then straight away watch episode 1 of 2nd season cause it's worth it!
Glad to hear that! I'm looking forward to second season as well, as the last scene hints at some secrets are about to be revealed. Just finished Code Geass, it's actually fine but the death of thord princess was just unbearable and unnecessary for me. The whole series really does give a vibe similar to Death Note with 2 protagonist fighting for their own ideals. Anyway, off to s2!
It's ok. I've actually watched Tenki no Ko twice now in cinema including today. The art and the songs are great, Taki and Mitsuha made a cameo inside as well. The story is actually fine and for me, I think Your Name has a better ending ( if you really want to compare ). Otherwise, it's an enjoyable watch and it's somewhat a 8 or 9 out of 10 as a whole and it's certainly left an impression that ask:

Just started watching Fruits Basket ( 2019 ) a few days ago and damn, the character developments and the stories are great, some touching scenes had drawn out my tears without having 10 episodes in. I think you'll enjoy it, since you're waiting for it to be finished airing.
Hmm .. Carole and Tuesday were not what I expected so far. The songs are amazing and so are the art in the city but the characters are bland lol. I can't feel much emotions from them and the whole thing seems to be like a platform to promote songs only. Anyway, do share me your thoughts once you got to it!

Also, I'd recommend A Place Further Than The Universe. It gave me a feeling that I've not felt for so long, and is as emotional as Clannad:After Story and Violet Evergarden. Do reply when you got back!
So, I poked around and found ' Honey and Clover ' and ' Gunslinger Girl ', both of which I haven't watched but received quite some good reviews, they might not be similar to Barakamon but perhaps they could satisfy your taste. Again, no guarantee!
By the way, you've increased my interest in watching Barakamon.
