Yeah, he definitely makes good points. I don't want to give up on watching it, I mean, I really feel like I haven't given it a good chance. Maybe I'll like it more as it goes along.
You should direct me to some good manga. Probably 60 percent of what I have already read was garbage.
Oh well. Who knows, maybe I'll really like Macross and end up watching the whole series.

Mmh. Sketchy lines are delicious. Simon vs Anti-Spiral sketchy battle might have been the highlight of the whole thing for me.
I've been ehh. Life's busy atm with midterms and papers and various other time consumers. I've been throwing a lot of my time into one course in particular which has the most ridic reading list ever. We have to read like 5 different books. But it's worth it. Pre-Socratic philosophy is fun! /geek

No, but MSG has a main character that ends up in a war even though he doesn't really know what he's doing, and he ends up coping with a lot stress and trauma from said war, and there's an important space ship, and it ends up taking civilians on it, and then traveling through space. The concept is so similar that I feel like Ive already seen it.
But hey. I'm probably not giving it enough of a chance. Maybe I just need to watch moar.

Watch itttt. I'd recommend Ookami Kakushi too for Peach-Pit faggatory but it kinda sucks atm. Just shota Hiro being molested by creepy older gay guy Issei, white haired girl scythes a few people, etc.
Nemuru might make it watchable for you, tho.
