A phenomenal story about working towards your dreams, overcoming obstacles, achieving your dreams, then helping others do the same thing.
The character development in this is excellent; starting from such a small beginning, to ending; much larger, and greater of an impact. This is what people imagine working towards your dreams would be like.
The story itself is able to teach you lessons, while filling you with some funny, & wholesome moments... it's the ideal job experience that anyone would want. It's very unique in many regards, this manga will introduce things that wouldn't be expected from it's description.
Worth the read, would recommend it to anyone.

This anime is definitely not for everyone, although if you're reading this; then it's safe to assume you've watched Jashin-chan Dropkick!.
The show is absurdly unrealistic and that's the charm to the show. It has a very weird mix of dark humor, with light-hearted spots in it. The show has running gag jokes, breaks the forth wall, introduces new characters, and goes in depth with some of the past of the characters. The new characters are pleasant to see on the screen, and highlight new parts of the show; while giving a different view on certain scenes. If dark humor, exaggerated situations, with spurts of wholesome moments ...

The movie follows the main mangas story and ends on that path as well, which is the most controversial, undesirable, and confusing choices of all. The story does take time to go in depth with each character and help them overcome their struggles, even overcoming them; when it comes to quality, it matches the anime in more ways than one; however the ending isn't anything special... the ending ruins a perfectly good story and feels more of a rushed ending, rather than a genuine happy ending; plus if you watched the second season of 5-toubun no Hanayome; then you'll be able to figure out which

If you're looking for something that's able to encapsulate your feelings, bring about laughter and joy, suspense, and tells a phenomenal story; this is the anime to watch. The anime came first before any manga/light novel serialization happened. There are objectives, & plot points that wouldn't be expected from reading the description of the anime.
The characters feelings and their actions are executed excellently with proper reason(s) relating to each one of the characters. The best example would be Chisato and her refusal to kill. Chisato's teachings to Takina regarding the preservation of life/lives. The backstory behind Chisato is a unique one, that's worth a look ... |
