I'm glad to hear you liked the shows! Yes I legit spent 4 hours one night trying to find you some good Anime. The new way MAL has us finding Anime was different this year so it was a little more difficult. I'm happy the shows I recommended left an impact on you. Initial D is the cause for my love of JDM.

I don't have a problem with 12 episodes as long as the story begins and ends in a satisfactory way. I'm a huge Gundam fan but The 08th MS Team left a huge impact on me. The ending hit so hard on my first watch and the story of two opposing forces abandoning their cause because they love one another.

I'm doing fine. I don't have as much time to watch anime as I had before Summer. Will try to keep up with my seasonals nevertheless.

Unfortunately, I read all my manga in Japanese, so I bought the digital volumes and read it that way. I'm sorry I can't get you any info on where to find it.

I didn't know about the game, personally I half liked it, I would have preferred that the supernatural part at the end wasn't there, but apparently it had to antedate the original game. The ending theme has a different flavor at the end of the last ep, that violin "attack" has stuck with me.

Although I didn't include it in my top 10, I had counwise given it a solid 8, the part that stuck with me were the protagonist efforts to save his sister. The disruptive surrealism had prevented me from any objective conclusions or having even a vague idea about the message convey (if it had one).

In my case I started out with a very low opinion sprung from my experience especially watching the trailer I have already imagined the characters the storyline and some of the dialogue, but was really amazed as the plot unfolded.
You could say it is a kind of bait-and-switch for veterans.

I have the good fortune to follow some facebook pages that from time to time reenact some clips of particular series or frames with really absurd quotes with their source.
I really appreciated these discoveries, they changed my point of view a little bit and helped me to ask different questions regarding from classic existential issues to everyday life.
