Hi, I'm queer and full of existential fear.

I started watching anime when I was 7 (2004-ish, not counting Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! that i occasionally watched prior to that), my first proper anime was InuYasha, then Slayers and Yu Yu Hakusho. During high school I stopped watching anime for a while so there are still a lot of cult classic shows I haven't watched.

Thanks to anime, I was introduced to the J-ROCK and Visual Kei genres. I always enjoyed listening to Asian music, not just Japanese and Korean, but Thai and Chinese music as well. Became a K-POP fan in 2009 but now I'm more of a casual listener and only following one group.

I'm an NCTzen.

What I like

Music genre: metal, R&B, hiphop, nOiSe mUsIc

Japanese Bands: Dir En Grey, The GazettE, One Ok Rock, Nocturnal Bloodlust

K-pop groups: NCT, Dreamcatcher, EXO, Mamamoo

NCT bias: Haechan, Ten

Anime/Manga genre: Seinen, Psychological, Action

Usually consume more anime than manga (because I'm a slow reader so reading manga is more tiring than watching anime), that's why I don't really start a manga unless i think i would like it

Classic literature (mainly from the late 19th and early 20th century)

What I consider when rating anime

Story/Plot

Art/Animation

Sound/Voice acting

Characters

Enjoyment (+ Nostalgia points when needed)

1-3 - horrible, waste of time, watching it is just a suffering, watching it makes me angry

4-5 - pretty bad, probably a waste of time, might make me angry/laugh at how bad it is, also shows that are hyped up but i just think they are mediocre at most

6 - not very good, but ok shows, they are probably quite bad/nothing special but still enjoyable

7-8 - good and great shows that are still missing something that could make them better

9-10 - the best shows of the season/ my favorite anime
