I just started watching Anime recently, since I got my Netflix streaming account last year. So far, it has been a major discovery for me.

I've always loved a good story, and I find that in Anime there is the potential for mind blowing stories that would not be feasible in live action, so I think I am in love with this media.

My trek through Anime started with my passion for post-apocalyptic themes, dystopian, dark sad futures, but through watching different series, I've discovered that I am also drawn into complex relationships themes and that they weight even more for me than the Sci-Fi part of the story.

Now, want to expand my horizons and discover other good stories, regardless of the genre.

I appreciate your recommendations from you veterans out there.

I still haven't quite beaten it yet xD I do own 1-5 though along with some others from the Shin Megami series.

Well hey, thanks! It's a little alarming how many romance and yaoi anime specifically are like that. I get that it's a thing for many but you'd think there would be more options out there..
