Been watching for 2 years and reading LN/Manga for 1. Just started to pick it up sophomore year of college in the States. Love it and can't believe I didnt start sooner!

Haha loved your Kuzu no Honkai review bro. Laughed audibly when you compared it to school days. Was gonna give Kuzu no Honkai a try but as soon as I heard school days I was like get me tf outa here!!!!!! Hope you doing good.


I see you like romance. you should give the manga "A Town Where You Live" a try. It is one of my all time favorites for the romance genre. Do not base your opinion of it on the Anime adaptation. It does not do it justice at all.

I wouldn't say they have a specific agenda, they just have a terrible view of the world, which can sometimes be influenced by their own experiences. You know, I've noticed this same issue with 5 Centimeters per Second. I think that's a great film that basically teaches you not to wait for things to fall into your arms and declare your love for someone before it's too late, but omg do people just love acting like it's some portrayal of "WELL, LIFE JUST SUCKS, BRO!". At a certain point, it becomes clear they're just miserable and see everything through their miserable lens.

Exactly. I feel it's generally the case with most overly negative pieces of media that are called realistic. The people calling them that are usually miserable bastards themselves.
And yeah, it's not realistic, the world isn't that immoral. Spending more time with others makes it clear just how well-meaning most people are.

Nice to meet you as well. Yeah, it looks like another one of those stories that are hyped for being "le realistic" but really is just some miserable person's fantasy where everyone is terrible and everything is awful. Honestly reading about what happens in it, it just sounds like School Days.

Had some chatting with ya about SAO some good years ago, finally started Maid-sama, it's definitely really good. I'm also struggling to find good anime to watch, my watch rate REALLY decreased since 2016-17...
