Yeah haha. I’m an American born person of Indian descent.

I’m double majoring in CAAM (computational and applied math) and economics @ uchicago (where it’s more convenient than usual to double major because of the quarter system). Or at least that’s the plan I’ve settled on after countless redrafts of my plans and schedules.

I’m American, born and raised, but I speak Tamil well enough that you wouldn’t think so haha. Well, I’ve been told I carry myself like an American by my cousins so I guess I’m not entirely camouflaged.

I’m just visiting family (it’s been 4 ears because of COVID) and stuff. My parents are from Tamil Nadu, so we’ve just been circling around here and there. We just came back from a 3 day trip to Vagamon (in Kerala) though.

Yeah, long time no speak! I’m doing well. It’s the summer before my 1st year in uni so I’m visiting India this month.

If you mean this upcoming season, I have absolutely no idea. For me, college begins that season and I have no way of knowing how busy (or maybe unexpectedly free) that I’ll be then. For now, I’m already overwhelmed by how many AAA anime are releasing so there’s going to be a lot of stalling + watching post-2022.

SAO isn't isekai, it's similar, but I won't give spoilers in what way it's different. Also, ignore the hate revolving SAO - humans (not all, but plenty) like to bandwagon, in this case hate bandwagon, because most people are insecure and need to fit in. Believe in your own thoughts and opinions. It's a great show, I'm sure you'll like it! :)

Yes. Spice and Wolf, Familiar of Zero, Sword Art Online, Vinland Saga, Pilot's Love Song, Suisei no Gargantia, Kamisama Kiss, Millennium Actress (film).
First recommendation would be SAO.

The ending was terrible. I don't like to shit on underwhelming endings, but that ending destroyed my will to continue on with my night and I just went to sleep and did my hw in the morning instead.

Prisons school's best arc was the anime, which was hilarious as hell and well written. The manga for the next 120+ chapters was also amazing, but then it started to falter plot-wise and take questionable side routes (still while remaining one of the funniest things I've ever read though). The ending was actually shaping up to be pretty good and extremely satisfying, but they ruined it in a grand total of 2 panels in the last chapter. I would recommend to just not read the last chapter and you'll be smiling till the end even if it left so so so many plot lines unanswered. To be fair, they could've taken another 100 chapters to wrap it up nicely without filler, but whatever.

Overall, a good experience. I still shudder at the undesirable feelings that the ending invoked in me though.
