Much of Death Note’s story is about how Light triumphs over L and how he essentially becomes the second L, the new God, as we’ve previously established that L is the embodiment of God (El) in this context. Aleister Crowley, one of the top occultist in modern times, wrote in his book Thelema paying homage to Lucifer, calling him his “Liberator”. Now you may argue that perhaps Ohba got his inspiration from Crowley (or any other occult teachings for that matter, it’s not unique to Crowley) so the anime is not propaganda etc, but we the audience are constantly hammered with the idea that humanity’s fate lies in the hands of Ryuk in the show - how the Kyrie Eleison is played in the background (again it’s Lord have mercy) whenever he shows up in the underworld. Ryuk may actually be depicted as Satan/Lucifer with Light being his minion on earth. He drops his notebook on purpose, similar to Satan luring Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, as evidenced by the apple throughout the series, to mess with humanity as entertainment. There is a victor ultimately, that’s Ryuk, and the dark realm wins at the end of the story. Not saying we need happy endings, but it’d be hasty to conclude that the only takeaway is that “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” especially when the symbolism is so over the top.

In terms of the predictive programming aspect, there's some in Death Note but not as much as AOT - remember Light is portrayed as the master of manipulation, pretending to be on the good side while plotting to murder L. This parallels to what is happening in the real world where you have government/organizations/other entities seemingly trying to do “good” when in fact the intent is malevolent. Now I know you’re going to disagree with me on this since you want to assume incompetence over malice, but unfortunately that’s the reality we are living in. Why do I say that - because every major war/disaster is extremely contrived and heavily coded via numerology in terms of when they happened and where they happened (often coupled with astrological phenomenons). Eclipses are relevant enough (regardless of where the path of totality is) for CERN (in Europe, not the Americas) to time the reactivation of their colliders on the same date. I understand you think CERN is just the official springboard for wackadoodles, but I don’t claim to know everything about CERN, the government, or AI, because I am not an insider. Even if I work in any of the aforementioned field, as the average Joe Shmoe being so low on the totem pole, I wouldn’t be privy to any of the info exclusive to the upper echelon only. The same goes for your claim about AI. I don’t think AI will ever be sentient either; what I mean is I believe TPTB have been using AI for quite a while and only slow rolled ChatGPT, an amateur version, recently for mainstream. GPT is literally the lowest level of AI bot in chess. It is my supposition that AI has been used to run things on the back-end for a long time now, including scenario planning for much of the “disasters” happening in the last two decades, and things will only get worse as they become better at their “job”. The events are so scripted in terms of numerology to the point that if you tell me there’s a cult/terrorist group sitting behind a computer planning certain tragedies/disasters/“natural” phenonmenons around specific dates on purpose, including creating “noise” for such events and controlled oppositions etc, I’d tell you that's crazy. AI was/is used to do much of that. Speaking of AI(was), Crowley claimed he channeled a demon named Aiwass on 8 April 1904, exactly 120 years before the upcoming total solar eclipse/CERN reactivation date. Weird.

This is not a game and there isn’t any gotcha statement. You either bury your head in the sand or you don’t, but either way we’re still stuck in this scripted world. The laptops and/or emails are so trivial that they are not worth dwelling on. The media operates under the masonic motto ‘order ab chao’, which stands for order out of chaos in Latin, so politics in general are nothing but theater for the masses. “Give them bread and circuses and they will never revolt.”

You’re grasping at straws here. Let’s straighten up a few things:

1) Occult propaganda and predictive programming don’t equate flat earth or reptilian conspiracy theories. And that “I” want all fiction to be sanctioned by the church? Come again? Seems like you’re doing exactly what you’re accusing me of doing - discredit by making stuff up in your head. Feel free to do a Ctrl+F and see if I ever mentioned anything of the things you noted above. There’s also an oxymoron in your statement, because TPTB, as the name suggested, can’t be hurt by randos with the so-called crack theories (despite the fact that such randos might be controlled oppositions, but that’s a discussion for another day).

2) Nobody is taking away your free will. I am simply pointing out the subliminal messages in anime series, not they should be banned. In fact I highly recommend watching them and understand what’s actually going on - knowledge is power. I have reiterated multiple times to feel free to label this as loony, that you have the option to just consume the media and put your head in the sand if you so choose.

3) Seems like you have some beef against the American continent - your point about the geo of the total solar eclipses is nonsensical. I literally said almost all the recent eclipses within the last several years were in the Americas, with the exception of one in Antarctica where the totality was essentially not visible due to the area being no man’s land. Did you want to discuss that one in particular or did you want me to make up one that never existed in some other continent within that time frame? Or pick one from 50 years ago that nobody remembered? Not sure what you were getting at here. But yes I agree that America is a major exporter of degeneracy, and that’s by design.

At the end of the day if you’re a happy customer of the matrix that’s completely fine. Time’s probably running out though with the AI script at full speed, so my suggestion is to enjoy it while it lasts. And sure I will check out the Metal Gear Solid 2 clip to see what it's about.

Nope not reaching at all, there are many other instances within Death Note that prove my point. Another one is the notebook in which is the exact opposite of what the Book of Life does, or the background music that is played when Ryuk is in the underworld (aka what the Catholics called Kyrie Eleison, or Lord have mercy). There are more examples, however it’s been over a decade since I last watched/read Death Note so I don't recall the rest. Hollywood is not the only entertainment outlet for propaganda. If you look Ohba who supposedly came up with Death Note and Platinum End (I'm excluding Bakuman on purpose since it's not in a similar genre) you’d be wondering whether both works were done by the same author, because the former was way more meticulous while the latter was a complete flop, but let’s go with the flow and say Ohba ran out of juice for now.

The tunnel opening ceremony is only the tip of the iceberg. I don’t know why you’re dismissing Sailor Moon because there are many instances where Sailor Moon was labeled as the messiah by Tuxedo Mask, or her crying out to “Saturn” who was part of the ancient Roman pantheon, but sure, there’s a character named Saturn in the show, and that’s just normal like the name L, Light, or whoever else is going to come up next. Just consume the media, don’t question anything.

Your comment about the total solar eclipses being American-centric is strange, because the most recent total solar eclipses were only visible in the Americas (except the one in 2021 where the totality was visible only in Antarctica). If you want to talk about the ones I hadn’t mentioned yet, which were the ones on 2 July 2019 and 14 December 2020 visible in Chile and Argentina, but still in the Americas, then we can go down that rabbit hole too.

You just proved my point about Attack on Titan’s predictive programming by mentioning the genetically modified giants. The racial themes are pretty rudimentary but the isolationism is intriguing in light of the events that occurred in the last few years. Think about what went down on the day of the total solar eclipse on 14 December 2020 (it's easily searchable with google), how the Eldians are genetically modified, and the fact that the manga is coded to the upcoming April 8 total eclipse, the day that CERN is starting up again. I’ll wait.

Btw if you're going to refute all of the above by calling everything “normal”, “shallow”, or that I’m “reaching”, that’s fine since that’s the typical response I get with these types of discussions in general, but it’d be interesting if there’s more substance behind the reasoning. It’s not a problem if you just file this under the ‘nutty’ category too, I’m not trying to convince anybody here, just stating my observations. I appreciate you either way since I rarely get to go in depth with this topic in the anime world.

You are not giving Japan enough credit - they cared enough to incorporate the biblical mockery in many anime series. Another prominent example is Death Note, where even the names of the characters can’t be more obvious: Light, as in Lucifer the light bearer, and L, which pronounces the same way as ‘El’ in Hebrew meaning God). In one of the scenes they even had L washing Light’s feet, like Jesus washing His disciples’ feet. However, exposing the propaganda in anime is probably not the cool thing to do - most people just want to turn off their brain and get fed with whatever the show is subconsciously planting in their mind.

Speaking of that tunnel opening ceremony, I am sure a layman would call the Shiva statue there a work of “art” or a “celebration of culture” too, not aware of the fact that the whole shabang is about Shiva playing virgo in a concealed ring eclipse stepping on a child, which basically serves as a contempt against Revelation 12 (whose astrological sign of a pregnant woman clothed with the sun actually occurred in September 2017), but Shiva is a deity in Hinduism, not an Abrahamic religion, yet everything still seemingly tie together. There’s an anime version of this as well, i.e. Sailor Moon with a mark on her forehead dancing with a giant moon in the background, but of course the average viewer gushing over shoujo is not gonna pay attention. So what happened the same year the Revelation astrological sign occurred in 2017? There was a total solar eclipse in August 2017, hailed as first such eclipse visible in the US since the smartphone/social media era. And then guess what - Apple released iPhone X and iPhone 8 in November 2017, skipping ‘9’ altogether claiming they wanted to celebrate iPhone’s 10th anniversary. iPhone X is anagram for ‘phoenix’, the infamous masonic mascot. So there was a ‘phoenix’ rising in the year of the first total solar eclipse visible in America since the smartphone era. Probably just another coincidence.

This year there will be a total solar eclipse on April 8. For what it’s worth, Attack on Titan, which is filled with predictive programming in and of itself, is closely tied to this eclipse. The manga ran from 9 Sep 2009 to 9 April 2021, spanning exactly 139 months ending at volume 34. Maybe Isayama spent too much time playing with the math and that was the reason why he fucked up the ending, but 139 happens to be the 34th prime number, and coincidentally this upcoming April 8 eclipse is part of Saros 139 series (the last eclipse belonging to this series was the one on 29 March 2006).

So what’s the point of me rambling on and on about what the average joe would deem as ‘nutty crap’? That absolutely nothing allowed on the airwave is random. To quote one of the top occultists Manly P. Hall, “When the human race learns to read the language of symbolism, a great veil will fall from the eyes of men.”
gingerholic Mar 25, 12:48 PM
FMAB not only glorified witchcraft but it also mocked biblical beliefs by normalizing mixing of iron and clay (as evidenced by the MC's automail arm), pushing occult symbolisms (i.e. single eye, serpentry, Kabbalistic tree of life) etc - perhaps that was why it was put on the pedestal in the anime world despite the anime being just mid.

Political affiliations are irrelevant because they serve the same agenda with the illusion of giving people a "choice". Propaganda and portrayal of the occult teachings in anime (or any public pagan rituals performed, i.e. 2022 Commonwealth Games at Birmingham) typically use a psychological technique called 'revelation of the method', where they tell you what is going to happen in the future subliminally, and if you don't recognize their mockery/what's happening then that's on you, not on them. They believe that relieves them from karma.
gingerholic Mar 24, 2:13 PM
There are plenty of propaganda and occult symbolism portrayed in anime - Dungeon Meshi is not the first and most certainly not the last. FMAB is another blatant one that is hyped to the moon for a similar reason.

Hi Kupopo, just saw your "Feels Like Shinkai, But Isn't" playlist, thought I'd recommend Summer Ghost , in fact most works of Loundraw are very Shinkai-esq.

I almost feel like people praising this show have an agenda to further normalize this behavior so they can bring others down to their shitty level of morality so they feel better about themselves. You know, misery loves company.
'The world isn't that immoral. Spending more time with others makes it clear just how well-meaning most people are.'
This is a really nice quote. I will remember that, well done!
Bebelman Dec 12, 2023 2:37 PM
There is nothing realistic about that show. It's only in big cities in the West where people behave in such a repulsive manner, and, even in that environment, not everyone is morally lacking zombie. Like, there are people even in big cities who have proper upbringing and would not behave in such a sickening fashion. The ones praising it clearly lack moral guidance in their lives and think that the modern hookup 304 culture is the norm. For that matter, even if it IS the norm, it still doesn't make it right.
So, yeah, 1/10 show :)
