Head's up. My list in incomplete, I have forgotten to add a bunch of shows/films I watched previously. A fair number of them I have probably just forgotten entirely.
Notes on ratings (to avoid confusion):
10/10 - My absolute favorites, full stop.
9/10 - Content here I was either completely enraptured by, or it caused me to reflect upon myself in a significant way. This is basically an extended list of my favorites.
8/10 - Very captivating experiences that I thoroughly enjoy. Stuff here really impacted me strongly, and may have changed how I viewed the medium.
7/10 - Purely an enjoyable experience. Content here, and up, I will always go out of my way to consume again.
6/10 - While some of it didn't grab me, overall a very enjoyable experience.
5/10 - I enjoyed parts, if not all, of the work. Some of it just did not click for me and I found elements of it I did not like.
4/10 - May contain elements I like, but they're outweighed by content I dislike. Alternatively, I may have found nothing I like or dislike about the work.
3/10 - Content here does not work at all for me and it contains elements I dislike. Alternatively, it has some good, but the bad is so bad that it demolishes any enjoyment the good can provide.
2/10 - Anything here is a purely awful experience.
1/10 - So insultingly bad I want to strip it from my memory.
In regards to my Anime Favorites List:
I use the first season of a series if the entire series collectively is my Favorite, even if there is a particular season that I prefer.

Thank you so much for recommending me March Comes In Like A Lion and Gungrave. I have only watched like half of the first season so far but I think it's absolutely right up my alley: A comfy slice of life with dark undertones and complex characters. Wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being one of my all-time favs by the time I finish both seasons.

I was a bit confused at first because it was my first time doing this.

I want to thank you for the manga gift.
I've started reading them and must say, they are really good.
"Saki-chan wa Konya mo Pekopeko" really catched my attention and I absolutely love it.
The other two manga's are also good, but like I said Saki-chan is way more amazing.
In any case, I will be sure to read them all as they are very special!
Also, your last sentence about numbers made me smile lol

Thank you for the manga gift! I finished 2 chapters of 'The Gods Lie', and yes I know it only has 5 and short ones on top of that, but I like it, can't give more of a review yet I guess. If it were longer I probably wouldn't finish it at all, so thank you for choosing this one because now I'm determined for it to be my first completed manga. I love how much thought and effort you put into finding the right one for me <3

Btw I realized that I could've made you spend money on stuff you may end up disliking, specially Devilman that is longer haha have fun reading!!!
I have started on Fuuka, and I just have to say, wow. In the first few episodes, I already feel somewhat attached to the characters and their relationships.
I'll be sure to finish both recommendations.
