My life is far better now, I’ve been doing my own thing and improving myself both physically and mentally. I also deleted my socials because I completely wanted to get away from the drama for good, and it’s been amazing. How have you been?
I will not be including Hunter x Hunter as it does not meet the 15-year requirement. However, I was unaware of the other two and will add them ASAP; thanks!
I've actually seen a couple of episodes from the '90s OVA way back when I first got broadband, but they were in awful Real Media format (geez, this ages me so bad, haha!), so I remember very little. I will definitely add this to the list too, I looked at the mangaka's list of works on here and I find his artwork very appealing.
I was considering joining the Secret Santa in the forums, but since I just joined and haven't added all of the stuff I've already seen yet, I decided not to as I was worried I might end up getting gifted titled that I've already seen and just forgot about. But your recommendation of Karakuri Circus is exactly what I had hoped to discover if I had joined, so thanks so much! I'm going to start it once I knock a couple more series off of my currently watching list this weekend.
Wow, thanks for the heads-up! I've scrolled by Karakuri Circus on Prime maybe hundreds of times and never stopped to investigate. Guess I found a new series to check out!
I had written that it was a great review,
you pointed out the main problems of the show, and I could really prove it by seeing the manga raws, it has practically nothing to do with the show, it's almost like an original anime made by Pierrot Studio. Unfortunately, it seems that underground shonen jump 90's manga suffered a lot from these adaptations.
I also read your Kishin Douji Zenki's review, and I was quite disappointed to find out that it wasn't faithful to the manga either, it's a shame. =/
