I'm really recommend this reading to you guys, definitely worth the read. Pretty interesting premise that leaves a lot of room for development later, characters actually feel alive and funny. FMC absolutely full of herself, but she flaunts it around so blatantly to the point that it becomes entertaining in its own ridiculous way. Although it seems to me that this is a kind of defensiveness from her side

This will be a spoiler-free mini review.
This is not the first Carnby's manhwa I've already read. Now it is even difficult for me to say which of his two best works (I mean "Bastard" and "Sweet home") I liked the most. The plot, the characters, the story, and, this is the most important, the end are written at the really highest level possible. You know, this is one of those works, from which I begin to squeeze my heart very hard and there is a desire to cry out loud from of the great ending and because this masterpiece work it is over.

After I finished this... the only world I've sayd was "wow". This is definitely one of the best work in the post-apocalyptic genre and I advise everyone to read it. This is solid 10/10 work.
P.S. Don't forget - you need to read last chapter with background music, written especially for this manhwa (available on youtube)...

I tried to avoid spoilers, plot summary, and other things, but still, something can be considered as such, so read all of the following at your own risk.
The success of a work often depends on its finale. After all, an unsuccessful ending can easily disappoint readers, leave an unpleasant "aftertaste".
I didn't want to write a review of this manga right after I finished reading it. I thought that after some time after the final chapters my opinion of the manga would improve and I would give a higher score. And so it happened. I initially rated this as a 3. But anyway, I just can't

score it higher than 4 and still think that the author of "Domestic Girlfriend" failed the ending. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. The scores drop from 7.71 before the final arc to 7.32 at the time of writing this review say a lot. And it doesn't matter which girl you were rooting for.
Just a warning. Whatever you do, if you haven't read the manga yet, I recommend do not read it. But if you are going to start reading it anyway, don't get attached to any of the manga girls.
I'm really used to love reading this story till the last arc. But since chapter 265, the story has fallen off the cliff in the most contrived nonsensical way imaginable. This, two cheap timeskips, discarded development of all the characters, the inability of the MC stand by his choice, denial of fatherhood, family values, and even love, the replacement of all the above with the word "Fate" make DomeKano one of the worst manga I ever read. The author came up with too good a love triangle, but not how to solve it and instead of a well-thought-out drama, insight into the characters, conflict resolution and choice of sides, in the end we are getting an unnatural, artificial plot twist so moldy and formulaic that the nuclear compartment of the teams of both ships just explode (well, unless their goal was just to see their girl won no matter how it was done). It does leave the feeling that the manga was completed in a hurry, and it's really strange, with such number of chapters and a pile of fillers. May be the author wanted to please everyone, but it didn't work out. Readers have already compared the ending of this manga to the ending of "Game of Thrones". It's really just as bad, if not worse.
From the manga positive points I can note artwork. The art is quite good and detailed for weekly manga, although not awesome one and exaggerated happy faces with wide open mouths do not look very good.
P.S. Out of all the gals who had to deal with Natsuo, Momo the most fortunate than anybody in the manga.
For some reason I doubt the possibility of the second season of the anime.

"Mushishi" - perhaps one of the greatest anime I've ever seen. "Masterpiece," as corny as it may sound, is the first word that comes to mind -- and not only regarding the second half of the second season, but regarding the entire franchise as a whole. There is, however, a catch: Mushishi is the kind of series that practically defines the phrase "not for everyone."
First and foremost, there is nothing in here that you would usually expect to find in Japanese animation. In Mushishi, giant fighting robots, spaceship travels, and scantily clad schoolgirls are absent -- and if you expect or require your anime to

contain these elements, then Mushishi is not worth your time and will likely put you to sleep before the first credits roll. If you're partial to unexpected plot twists, subtle foreshadowing and hints that beckon you to unravel the meaning implied by the author, or meticulously crafted plots, then most likely you, too, will be disappointed. As you can see, it is easier to advise someone NOT to watch this anime, than to find those who might like it.
When watching Mushishi, I felt as though what slowly unfolds on the other side of the screen begins to pull at the my heart strings, forcing think and ponder a lot and about many different things. I dive into an unknown world, one which is almost impossible to understand, a fantasy world superimposed on reality, and it is easy to get lost in this world. Seems to be, a bit of dynamics in the story, but while watching, time flies instantly. Is Mushishi a fairy tale? I do not know. It is too realistic to be a fairy tale, yet too fantastical to be true.
Honestly, in the beginning I was pretty skeptical. I was troubled by the graphics shown in previews and screenshots, and troubled by the fact that each episode had and "independent" plot. I entered the show's first few episodes with some skepticism. But after watching a few episodes more i really popped out - no one episodes did cause me disgust. Beautiful, almost to tears in the eyes landscapes, I really was amazed. Differences in character designs were fairly subtle, as if the creators wanted to say, "this could happen to anyone," and yet every character also had some traits peculiar to him or her alone. Each character must deal with the mushi, under his or her own, unique circumstances and situation. Because of this, many viewers fault Mushishi for having the same secondary characters. However, this is not a minus, but a "vice-versa" - plus - almost like creators wanted to say us: all people are different, but at the same time, all people, in many aspects, are similar to each other, and Mushishi displays this brilliantly. All of peoples are "all" and "every".
And the execution of these stories' design is just gorgeous. Rather than going the traditional anime route and using bright, eye-popping, multicolored landscapes, everything is drawn in soft pastels, with very simple color scheme reflecting the natural world and resembling watercolors. It is reminiscent of traditional Japanese ink painting. It seems that the first-season story of the artist who painted on the lining of his haori mountain from their native lands seems to be the essence of the series. There are mountains and valleys, the sky and the ocean, and with them another element, Mushi -- different and the same, neither good nor evil, the element that both feeds and kills. Just like history, there is neither bad nor good, just whatever the viewer feels each episode. All the same, everyone just lives their lives. There is no evil or good.
Regarding Mushishi's music: On the screen, under the sound of bells, you can see the panorama of the fresh green forest; close your eyes, and you feel the same. The music blends with the picture, to become a "voice" of nature. Without its brilliant OST, I think, anime would lose its soul. At the end of each episode, it is simply impossible to cut the ending short, because it is the logical conclusion of each episode, where the visual image transforms into the music.
Japanese philosophy is very ambivalent and are unlikely to be truly understood by our audience, but for anyone who has ever stopped to listen to the whisper of the forest, "Mushishi" will never be only a "passable" anime.
Mushishi - an amazing anime. Simply amazing. One of those anime that really deserves its place in the top.
P.S So here's the perfect anime for the night. Leaves behind a phenomenally light feeling and fleeting thought. And yet — it is filled with some all-consuming, though not hurting eyes, love of peace and love of one's neighbour.
P.P.S I would like to mention a story from the second half of the second season, about a man who lived his life several times. So sad and at the same time, life-affirming interpretation of "Groundhog Day" I have never seen before.

They are not painted, they are alive!
"Umi ga Kikoeru", also known as "Ocean Waves" and "I Can Hear the Sea" - one of not very famous movies by «Studio Ghibli» and the most unsuccessful its project in terms of financial profitability.
However, this is a wonderful shot of the anime. Obvious its advantages - the lack of cheap soap opera effects, typical of many melodramas. The ability to dive into the world of perfectly adequate anime characters, that doesn't happen often. Unusually shown love triangle....
Someone might say: the plot of "Umi ga Kikoeru" undeveloped, but look back: do fifteen or sixteen years teenagers understand what

they really want from life? Only fragments of relationships, lost connections, the first conflicts and stupid talks, unprofitable, but before the offensive that stuck in the memory of a lifetime... But the main focus of the movie placed on the the characters growing up, change their views. The romance in the film is like a weak and inconspicuous at first spark intensifying feelings: embarrassment MC, Morisaki Taku represented Muto like her boyfriend at a meeting with her father and the former boyfriend, a shame to sleep in the bath and other amusing silliness. Tenderness Morisaki, carefully sheltering with blanket, cried her eyes out and asleep on his chest Muto. Incredible scene of homecoming and reunion, with lots of small details.
After watching a feeling of quiet melancholy and tranquility left in the soul. The sense of reality.
Take a look at the scenery, think about your hopes for the future at the end of school, remember the first homecoming and find out yourself.
