The sequel falls quite low compared to the prequel.
Nisekoi: barley gives any progression to the story. It's just 12 episodes filled with comedy.
Sure, it is a romance anime. But comedy has dominated it. No wonder it's called Nisekoi (False Love) because there isn't any in it. Yeah yeah, the girls are head over heels in love with Raku but does Raku have a clue? NO. Did he get a clue in season 1? NO.
Though there is a slight progress in the story but that is more related to the past of the character and a hint of the promise. That's all there is, 1.5

episodes about the story.
There you have it. Nisekoi: is meant to be enjoyed as a comedy anime with really cute characters and splendid animation. If you're looking for some good strong romance, you're in the wrong place.
Characters:
New characters are introduced. But they get little importance aside from Haru Onodera.
Among the old characters, whole episodes are devoted to a single character. Sometimes, it is Chitoge, sometimes Marika etcetera.
A few episodes also show more of them in it. But as far as character progression, romance progression, the promise girl is concerned, that's a no go.
Enjoyment:
Yeah, I enjoyed the series. Since I like comedy and good animation, Niskeoi: was a nice anime to watch every week. But not an anime that I would watch as soon as it was available. It's the type you'd watch when bored and free, unlike another anime this season (Oregairu Zoku).
Nisekoi: does little to progress the story set in Nisekoi. It is full of comedy and filler type episodes. Not much progress about the promise. Mild story progress, nothing that important.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the anime but I also want them to move ahead with the story.

Hikigaya Hachiman, a high school loner who has no need of friends and looks at the world realistically and chooses his goals and makes choices according to that. Feeling and emotions have no importance to him.

This was what happened in the prequel.
This sequel again shows the gang taking on requests. But now, more focus has been given to the relations between them and the feelings they have for each other.
Conflicts arise, misunderstandings occur and feelings are conveyed in this exciting sequel that definitely lives up to the reputation and takes it to another level.
Art & Animation:
Feel studio was doing the work this time. Starting out, I felt uncomfortable as to what would happen in the sequel but the result was remarkable. The art and animation quality is superb, much better than the prequel.
The character design is almost the same, just improving on the previous ones to keep up with this modern age of animation.
Characters:
New characters are introduced with the old ones getting reduced screentime. But they have importance to the show. Some new characters get an awful lot of attention but in the end, it is all about the trio.
Enjoyment:
Just as I loved the prequel, I love this one too. The better animation made it more enjoyable and the theme songs were awesome to listen to.
The reason this anime is so good is because it doesn't go with your cliche romance settings. This isn't as much about romance between two people as much as it is about the emotions and understanding between a group of friends who love what they have and want to protect it no matter what.
Sure, you may want some cliche romance (I want one too) but looking beyond that, this anime is truly one of a kind and one can't help but love how it all works out.

If you've seen Gurren Lagann and liked it, you would also like Kill la Kill, simple as that.
My first impression of Kill la Kill before watching it was that it would be a school anime with some low class superpowers and quite a lot of ecchi. And boy was I wrong. I've been putting this anime off because I didn't find it worth the time but after watching it, I have to admit that this is simply one of the best anime I've seen in terms of a complete story, action, fighting and powers.

keep up with the pace and learn how the story works and the past of the events. The characters are easy to remember and can easily be linked with the story.
It's your everyday "revenge story" at first. Then it turns into a "save the world story". Anyway, it isn't disappointing and difficult to understand. Sure, it might be cliche but I can guarantee that the way of presenting it is amazing and keeps you glued to the screen eager to watch the next episode.
Art 8/10:
The artwork is a comical style. With transformations followed by glimmering lights and the stuff. It's the same art style as TTGL (Gurren Lagann). Though it might seem old for this age of anime but this art style and animation perfectly captures the atmosphere and compliments the story.
As for character designs, they are quite remarkable. Sure, they didn't go into much depth but still the characters are amazing to look at.
As for the fight scenes, they are out of this world. Transformations, special powers, signature moves and all other fighting stuff is well made and is amazing to watch.
Sound 10/10:
The 1st opening is "Sirius" performed by Eir Aoi. It's a nice song to listen to.
The 1st ending is Gomen ne, Iiko ja Irarenai (Sorry, I can't be a good child) and is as good as to download the full version.
The 2nd opening is also worth a listen though the 2nd ending doesn't quite meet the mark set by the other songs.
As for soundtracks of the anime, the main characters have there own theme songs. Some special songs are played during transformations or the winning points of battles.
Not all songs are in japanese. Some are in english and some in german. But the sound department did an awesome job and almost all the music in this anime is amazing and worth listening to.
Character 8/10:
I won't go into much depth here. I'll just say that the characters are really awesome on their own. The main characters each have their own special power. Each has a unique personality and past on the basis of which their powers are related.
All I can say at the moment is that the characters aren't what they look like in the beginning. Going into further depth might act as a spoiler but I can assure you that almost all the characters are likeable except for the bad guys.
You might've seen some anime in which the bad guys are more liked than the good guys. Well, this isn't like those. The bad guys really are bad till the bitter end. Sure, they have awesome powers and have nice character designs but still, it's hard to come to like them.
Enjoyment 10/10:
If you're into mecha, sci fi-ish, action, school, transformations, insane fighting, special moves, nice character designs, some fanservice, good story, apocalyptic scenarios and a complete ending, then this anime is for you.
Sure, at the start, this anime isn't all I've made it out to be but after about half the series is finished, stuff gets so interesting that you can't stop from watching. And I can guarantee that you will watch the ending 5 episodes in a row.
Though I was into slice of life, romcom anime at the moment and didn't want much of an action type anime but Kill la Kill was definitely worth a watch and I'm glad I watched this action, mecha anime.

Working!!, just as the name says, it is about a group of characters working. The workplace is a family restaurant, Wagnaria and the anime revolves around the workers of the restaurant. The workers are the waiters, waitresses, chef and manager. Some family members of the main characters also make it into the to increase the fun.
Story 9/10:
The main character, well there are a lot of them, but the one who gets the most screen time and from whose perspective the story is told, is Takanashi Souta, a 16 year old high school student with a "festish" for small cute things. His days are filled by

working in the restaurant, co-existing with the weird workforce and trying not to die by the hands of a fellow worker.
There isn't much of an objective aside from working daily. Each episode is full of comedy which makes you eager to watch the next. Oh, and might I mention there is also some romance in the restaurant. Nothing serious like a romance anime ut still, it is something that'll make you root for the couple.
Art 9/10:
The animation, character design and artwork of this anime was really good. I was expecting something about average but this anime does a really really well job on the animation and artwork.
The characters are very well designed and I can guarantee that art and animation won't be something to keep you away from this anime.
Sound 8/10:
The opening theme "Working!!" is pretty upbeat and catchy. It's perfect for a comedy anime such as this.
As for the ending, it also matches the comedy and atmosphere of the show nicely.
Now I won't say the songs are something that you will download and listen to, but it's something that you won't mind spending 1 minute and 30 seconds listening to.
Character 9/10:
The characters are all this show is about. From start to end, the show revolves around the characters, their behaviours, their impulses, their getup and their relations.
It would be too long if I start explaining each and every character because almost all of them can be counted as the main characters.
I will only say that all of them are unique and will leave you laughing. Sure, some characters might not be much likeable in the beginning but eventually you'll come to like them too.
Enjoyment 10/10:
I'm a big big fan of slice of life romcom anime. Though this was purely a comedy anime, certain romance aspects also make their way into the show and you can't help but root for the couples.
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and watched it non stop from start to end.
Overall, this is a really good slice of life comedy anime and you should definitely watch it if you're looking for some good comedy anime with good animation and characters.

Usagi Drop is the story of a little girl and a grown up man who raises her despite having little relation with her. It depicts the hardships faced by the man as he tackles the difficulties that come his way upon choosing this new lifestyle. Though most of the episodes are happy and give a nice warm feeling, some do show the problems that come when raising a child.
Story 9/10:
The story is pretty easy to understand. A small girl taken into the care of a man who has no experience whatsoever. He changes his ways of living just to make it better for the girl.

Along the way, he meets other parents who are in a similar situation as him.
Art 8/10:
The artwork for this anime is good. Not too action-y and not too shoujo. It gives the nice atmosphere this anime is supposed to give. Some soft and warm.
Sound 7/10:
I didn't find the theme songs anything exceptional to be mentioned.
Character 9/10:
Our main protagonist is Kawachi Daikichi. A 30 year old man who works in a company and goes mostly into overtime. He lives alone but his life changes when he takes into his care Kaga Rin.
Kaga Rin is the little girl around which the story focuses. She comes from an unusual background. She stays with Daikichi. The anime shows almost a year of their life together.
Other characters that have importance are Rin's mother, Daikichi's family, Kouki and his mother.
There are some disputes but most of it is people helping each other out.
Now, one thing must be noted that this is a slice of life and not a romance anime. So, if you are expecting some romance, it's best to remove that thought. (Though there are some really strong "would-be" couples)
Enjoyment 9/10:
I was in search of a good slice of life anime similar to Barakamon. Usagi Drop is a bit more serious but it was definitely what I wanted to watch. Happy and warm relations among people, helping each other out and a happy ending for everyone.
Overall, as a slice of life anime, this is really a good watch. I completed it in 2 days. It's definitely a good anime for those looking for some warm happy anime with some good lessons about reality.

Non Non Biyori is a light hearted anime about 4 girls living in the country. The series goes along with their daily lives. Sometimes they visit the candy store, sometimes they work in the fields and sometime they are working on a school event. Whatever the day is, it is filled with joy, laughter and a beautiful countryside.
Story 8/10:

The opening "Nanairo Biyori" is performend by Nano Ripe. It's quite a nice song to listen to.
Enjoyment 9/10:
A really enjoyable series. It's meant to be watched just for fun and to pass the time with some light hearted comedy and cute characters.
It was a really good anime. And I'm glad it's getting a sequel "Non Non Biyori Repeat"
Watch it if you want some nice warm slice of life anime.

Fate Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works is different from the Fate Stay Night series. One, it is produced by Ufotable i.e. insane animation. Second, the story focuses on Rin Tohsaka too along with Emiya Shirou.
Story 9/10:
The first season is quite similar to Fate Stay Night series. But the main characters here are Rin and Emiya along with their respective servants. In this season, the face the Caster and Rider class servants. Episode 1 and 12 are of 40 minutes whereas the rest are the average 22 minutes.
Art 10/10:
The animation and art style fits this anime perfectly. It gives good fights scenes and the character

Sound 8/10:
Opening "Ideal White" feels like you've heard it before somewhere. Anyway, it's a good opening song.
The ending "Believe" by Kalafina is also nice to listen to.
The cast is the same as it was in the prequels or alternate versions.
Character 8/10:
This season shows us a few servants and quite a lot of masters. The character designs are good and the personalities of the characters are just as one would imagine.
Emiya being the brave good guy who'd give his life to save someone.
Tohsaka Rin, the rich lady like girl at school with amazing grades and a prominent mage background.
Sakura Matou, everyone's favorite kawaii school girl who hangs around with Emiya and secretly has a crush on him.
Then there are a bunch of other characters, including other school students, teachers and Masters.
Enjoyment 9/10:
I didn't find the first season much different from FSN but it was still enjoyable since I got to watch it in Ufotable quality and some more emphasis on Tohsaka Rin. There are quite a lot of fights scenes here, some of which are insanely epic. I'd recommend this series to anyone.
Overall, an awesome sequel to an already amazing series of Fate/

Kyoukai no Kanata: I'll Be Here - Kako hen is the first part of the movie series. This part is a complete recap of the original anime series. It does a good job getting you up to speed as to what happened in the original series and is only dedicated to the events surrounding Kanbara Akihito and Kuriyama Mirai and doesn't indulge in side stories.
Story 9/10:
This is a really good summary of the original series. No new scenes are used. It reuses the scenes from the original anime to make this summary.

Art 9/10:
Since it uses the same scenes, it has no change in art. It's the same KyoAni which you've already seen. The artwork is amazing. Nothing more to say.

Both the opening and the ending are really good songs. They are played near the end of the series.
The opening is played when Kanbara Akihito reaches Kuriyama Mirai when she is fighting Kyoukai no Kanata near the end of the movie.
The ending is played at the end and is a full version. It is played through the credits.
Voice actors are same.
Character 8/10:
If you haven't seen the original anime and watch this movie only, you'll miss out on many characters. As I said before, this movie focuses on Akihito and Mirai so the other characters get very little to no screen time. The only side character to have some play in this movie is Izumi Nase.
Enjoyment 8/10:
I loved the original anime and I liked watching the summary too. Even though it is a summary, some comedy bits are placed in it. And there are some emotional rides too.
It's a really good summary and for fans of the series, it is a good way to catch up and remember what happened.
Overall, I liked it. A heads-up, in the end of the movie, after the credits, they give a preview of the next part of the movie.

So this special is dedicated in telling us about Yuuji's past life. What happened to him which made him like he is? His childhood, his family, his relations, his battles, his troubles, everything he went through as a child till the present day. It does a good job and really depicts the psychological genre this anime is known for. A dark past and some graphic scenes are all it takes to make it one of the Grisaia specials.
Story 9/10:
Yuuji explains his past up till now to his handler, the blonde woman of the CIA. How he was treated in his family, how his sister acted

towards him and what happened after her sisters death. A sad and dark past of Yuuji is shown and after that comes his training arc which made him the assassin/sniper his is today. Though the ending of the special is more of a "to be continued" thing which will, I think, be continued in the sequel "Grisaia no Rakuen"
Art 8/10:
The art remains the same as it is. Really nice animation for a psychological anime, some graphic scenes and your average psycho-stuff.
Sound 7/10:
No opening or ending to the special.
Character 8/10:
The main focus is Yuuji. His family is shown in the first half and his sister gets quite the attention. After his family, comes his training story where he meets new characters. In the end, they show his encounter with his "to-be" master, Asako Kusakabe.
Enjoyment 8/10:
I can't say that I enjoyed this special since it was supposed to only fill in the gaps in our main character. Graphic scenes and a dark past aren't that enjoyable if you ask me. Nonetheless, this special is a really good one and I think the information given in it will play an important role in the upcoming sequel.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to make an anime episode? Why do some anime have amazing art while some suck? How are studios able to release episodes after just one week? Well, look no further because Shirobako gives all these answers and in a fun way. As a hardcore anime fan and editor (I make wallpapers, vector arts, AMVs and other anime stuff) I really really liked this anime since it tells you about all the hardwork, blood and sweat it takes to air a single episode.

9 out of 10 because it gives you a really good idea of how the anime industry works, the hardships faced by the workers and what it takes to air a series. Since the anime does this job really well, I find no other excuse to give it any less marks.
Sure, some parts may have been over emphasized to add the drama and tense atmosphere to the anime but without that, it would feel more like a documentary.
Almost all the cast are adults but the characters are still pretty relatable to which is a really good thing. Never giving up, tackling failures, working hard, these kind of attributes are shown throughout the series from which, I think, everyone can learn from.
Art 9/10:
I'd say that this art style is perfect for this anime. The character designs are pretty cool. Each character having their own unique design which perfectly depicts what kind of personality the character has. Sure, the animation might not compare to other anime, but for a comedy type, slice of life-ish anime like this one, it fits the bill nicely.
Sound 8/10:
It has two openings and two endings. Though I'm not a big fan of either but they still aren't all that bad. I can't say much in the sound department since this anime isn't much related to music or anything but it's definitely not something that would turn you away from this series.
Character 9/10:
Almost the entire cast is composed of people related to the anime industry; some are artists, some write stories, some do 3D motions, some take care of the colors and some do the video editing and dubbing. You can find almost any character doing a specific job here.
More emphasis is put on the production team, the animation team and the director but the video editing, CGI, sound and dubbing staff also get their parts accordingly.
It's hard to put a finger on any one character as the main lead since the whole staff is working to make the anime but more focus is on Miyamori Aoi (Production) and Yasuhara Ema (Animation). The other friends also come into the series but they don't play as much of a role as the above two.
Enjoyment 10/10:
From start to end, this anime is a amazing one. It thrills you, amazes you and gives you a good lesson about how to tackle hardships and failures. If you're in anyway related to anime, be it editing pictures or writing stories or making art, this anime will definitely be one you'll enjoy since you know a bit about what it takes to make that stuff.
Overall, I really liked this anime. Even though you may not be doing anything related to the anime industry, this anime is still a good watch for those who want to know more about how anime is made.
