Type-Moon was founded by artist Takashi Takeuchi and writer Kinoko Nasu, who were also schoolmates.

History:
Originally formed as a Doujin Soft in 2000, but turn into a Commercial Organization on 30 January 2004 and at the same year, they released their PC-based eroge visual novel game, Fate Stay Night.

I hope they keep them coming! I have not seen or read a Type-Moon story I did not like. Though I think Fate/Stay Night was my least favorite. But all in all, you got my money!!

Absolutely agree with Ketuekigami. :p While I've played about 25 visual novels up to date, TYPE-MOON's works are by far the best I've encountered so far. There's just something appealing in their character designs, story settings and so forth... Yeah, great, great group.
