Synopsis

Shirakawa Rou has to move to a relative's town in the country side with his twin sister Haruna when their mother suddenly dies in a car accident. Left as orphans at the age of 15, the two have to deal not only with their only parent but an entire new environment. Rou was supposed to succeed his mom's dream of winning a medal in the Olympics but with her dying the day before the big event, Rou breaks down and misses his only chance to reach his dream. Now stuck in the small town of Tomakomai, Rou finds a new passion in ice hockey and regains his focus in life.

Grew up playing hockey , and visiting Japan often. Supinamarada really connects these two worlds together as hockey ain't all that popular in Japan. The characters are well designed ( made by golden kamuy author) and the setting really feels like Hokkaido, which Satoru Noda the author grew up there. The MC Shirakawa Rou also isn't like every other op protagonist but instead he has a defining feature of a figure skating pro which Noda manages to incorporate with hockey and contribute to Rous effect to the team .
