Never heard of this series before, but it's an older manga and definitely sounds interesting, so I'll check it out. I'm wondering how many episodes though 'cause the manga seems to have some length to it. |

| This was one of the last manga I expected to ever get an anime adaptation, but serious AOTY potential if they don't try and cram the whole story into 12-13 episodes. I'm worried about the director. This couldn't be more opposite of Kyoto Anime's usual stuff if it tried. I loved the manga and what MAPPA is doing right now. It's refreshing to see a studio willing to try different things. |

| Literally screamed when I saw that Banana Fish was getting an anime adaption. The manga is soo underrated. Hopefully this garners a lot of attention! |
| Never read the manga but the synopsis looked kind of interesting. I'll definitely be on the look out for how this goes. I think working with the original style of the manga like with Ushio no Tora would be best for something like this. Although that being said, I haven't been a fan of MAPPA's works lately so I am not sure if this will fare well. |
