| The fox foreshadowing huh......I guess one will realise how important this is in relation to the plot later on. One thing which surprises me would be in terms of how much Mai knows in conjunction to Makoto. She dismisses the guesses as intuitions...though I seem to think otherwise. As one who watches the 2002 version, one would no that the person who plays the major role is that mysterious girl who appeared just now, Amano Mishio. Additionally, I am kind of a fan of the way the plot acts on in the 2006 remake, unlike the 2002 version which follows an omnibus format, making progression unnatural, this one had it better. In no way am I saying that omnibus format is bad, Amagami does it very well, it just doesn't suit Kanon, which is done in the 2002 Toei version. minouneetzoe said: From the next episode title, I guess it will be the end of the arc Makoto. It is very well done, though I'd vote for Ayu as the best still, in plot wise. You have also realised that Ayu seemingly doesn't have a home, right? |

| Omg my heart stopped when she dropped that cat and I gasped so loud. I was so ready to really dislike Makoto after that but then in the end she went looking for the cat and wanted it with her so I guess I slightly don't dislike her as much now (but how dare she drop that adorable precious little kitty I'm going to hold that against her forever though)...I wish she didn't do it in the first place though cause I really liked her character. -_- Clearly the girl has abandonment issues though, and her story is probably going to be revealed very soon with what's happened to her and why she's the way she is. Regardless, it was a great episode. I can tell things are going to get really emotional soon. I wonder what the meaning of the fox being shown was... |
| Aww I like Makoto actually but dropping that cat was pretty crazy but when she started tearing up she looked so adorable. I can't help it. They make the foreshadowing so noticeable. Why do I feel like Makato is like a ghost or something else supernatural... she just kind of popped up. Same thing for Ayu. Does Ayu even have a home? Tried finishing this series in one go but it seems a lot harder than I thought it would be, maybe I'll go on another run in an hour. |

| that cat dropping scene lol ;d I was thinking before it happened that it may happen with the way she was holding the cat, but... I am starting to think this anime may be either full of ghosts or Yuuichi is dead and is dreaming I wonder why there were not "dreaming" scene this time? anyway it is getting interesting and I want to know more about every girl Mai - Kotomi ? a little? for sure not Kyou as some people said in this forums oh yeah and I am worried about endings of each girl? how will they show it if not even one girl route is finished yet? I didnt play the game so.... |

| Everyone seems very offended about Makoto dropping the cat, but I never liked her character more than in that moment. I was very irritated that Yuuichi got angry with her after she did that, especially since his care for animals seemed completely forced. Her finding the cat also seemed very unrealistic. I personally wish that they'd worked through the issue by helping Yuuichi realize that his constant sarcasm toward the girls is terrible behavior, then they actually work through Makoto's issues with abandonment, then finally Makoto realizes that dropping a cat off a bridge isn't acceptable behavior (even if you are like me and really don't like pet animals.) If developed in this way, the lesson would have hit home even better if the cat had died, plus then we wouldn't have the issue of keeping the cat in Nayuki's home. |

| you can't block uguu if she comes from behind! xD when Ayu tackled Yuichi, I think he took some damage like in Eternal Fightter Zero game. worried about Makoto.. this episode was intense. glad they adopted the stray. I like cats in real life, have adopted 7 strays, all so sweet. They're all spayed and neutered so they don't multiply. :) |

| Seems like we're finally delving into one of the routes, with Makoto's being the first Wouldn't be surprised if she came from an abusive household, though it's just too convenient for her to stumble upon Yuuichi but there may some supernatural stuff at play here |
| Oh I'm so glad Makoto found the cat, I was so worried of what would happen to this little one. However, I'm definitely very worried regarding Makoto. Everything is hinting at her having been abandoned/kicked out of her home, and that's the kind of story that breaks my heart. Poor thing, I found her rather annoying at first but she is actually very endearing, which makes it all the more difficult. I'm not ready for the feels, I know I'm not. And that thing about the fox, I have no idea what it means but I don't like it at all. As for the rest, I think it is time to start making some theories. The town is apparently causing amnesia, but not to everyone and not on the same level, which is most likely some supernatural event though I'm not sure to know how it works and why it is only affecting some people. Maybe it happens to those who feel lonely, or maybe it is the equivalent of traumatic amnesia, the characters affected have a difficult past that the town makes them forget. Yeah that's most likely something like that. About Ayu, she still doesn't remember what she is looking for, and if we follow this theory, it is probably because whatever she is looking for is something that will remind her of a tragic event, or anything that she doesn't want to know/remember. The fact that she always avoids using her left hand when doing the pinky promise seems to go in that direction, she doesn't seem to have an injured hand but it might trigger something in her unconscious anytime she uses it. As for Shiori, as far as we know she isn't related to the amnesia however she also seems to have quite a difficult life. Not only is she sick (even if that's technically just a cold) but she also seems to try anything in order to avoid spending much time at home, here she even said her home is where she feels the worst. Maybe her family is being abusive ? There's also something I noticed that gives this theory more weight, but I only know that because I read the characters' names (an information about Shiori that we haven't gotten in the show so far), so I'll use the spoiler tag just in case : And about Mai... Well either she is crazy or there really are demons. Considering the way it is going, the presence of actual demons, or at least supernatural entities, is the most plausible. But, adding to that Mai's ability to understand people, does that make her a guardian or something like that ? Though if I remember correctly, she only showed this kind of ability towards Makoto, so... I don't really know, I think we don't have enough information for now. Well, so far I like this show ! It has a good amount of mystery and the characters are very likable (I particularly like Yuuichi, I always enjoy characters like him and so far he seems to be one of the best of his kind), if the drama isn't too forced it's gonna be good. |

| Nah didn't liked Makoto's redemption there, as it was already painfully obvious that we've something like this coming. Also dropping that cat on a whim... this girl needs some serious mental counseling. Sigh, don't really like writing this way but it is what it is. |

| I'm curious about what Akiko's jam tastes like. I don't mind eating much of it if she lets me screw her hard! Yuuichi messing with Mai about her having constipation was kinda lewd. I got a boner from that. Haha As someone who cares more about animals than humans, I would be super pissed if something happened to that poor cat. |
