| The last two episodes felt like so much to take in at once. I agree that I think they should've started with this. Really good episode though. |
| The great Aion buying coffee in between..well, whatever is it he is doing. Calling it world domination would fall short of his ambitions. Anyways, good to see a bit more of the background story. Wonder why they kept it that short initially - and we still don't know anything about Chrono's story with Aion. They were best buddies for a while, but something happend, leading up to the events we now see. |

| As much as I don't think flash back episodes are a good form of storytelling, I think that these two were fun. What a tragic backstory, I get why Joshua would take that offer without knowing what it was. Azmaria's backstory is similar, in so far as both have an aspiration to get stronger because of it, really showing us how hard an apostle's life is. Aion is one shady guy. I really like the idea of a devil's horns absorbing Astral as their power, and the idea that humans life force is astral, therefore it actually makes sense that a contractor would allow a devil to live up to their full power and why it would take away the contractors life force. I really didn't expect that idea to be well thought out, and to be honest maybe it could be better, but it works and fits into that lore Chrono told us about the Astral Line sending life down and taking it back when souls go to heaven. That was a surprisingly well done backstory and it answered some pretty big questions. I was tearing up at Rosette's line about how she, Chrono and Joshua can all be explorers together when they save him. And Joshua's screams were disgusting, like in a good way. Also that backstory vaguely reminded me of Ragna and Jin's in the Blazblue universe. |

| So Joshua inherited Chrono's horns, so that's where his ridiculous power comes from. He can also stop time, pretty weird to see those people being petrified and seeing them getting dust all over LUL. I can't really blame him though, since it's ironic that other people have been healed easily thanks to him meanwhile he always has to take a burden of being at death's door since he can't even heal himself. |

| The past couple of episodes were fantastic to say the least. Pulled me back into the show. The moment where Rosette revealed that she wanted to become a doctor instead warmed my heart so much. <3 |

| Alright, that was a backstory. With the complete picture it's easier to sympathize with the characters, especially Joshua. |
