| WAAAAAHHHH!! NAYUKI!!! So sad~~! T-T seriously I felt the tears on the verge of coming out this episode. and shit! the animation was amazing! god...this is so much better than the Toei. in 2002 yuuichi didn't give a crap about Nayuki, I was so pissed at him. There was so much tension between them in the later episodes too because of Yuuichi's ass-of-jack-ness. This time he did the best thing anyone could do in his situation (except actually going for Nayuki herself, but that's another discussion), so he's awesome for that. sadly it seems there's only two eps left, the next one's probably the last one with plot (since it's labelled finale, and the one after that is probably a recap just like with Air). Seems we're gonna end up with an Ayu ending, since she's all we see in the preview. Wah... It seems like yesterday when Kanon prelude came out. Now it's almost over. Nayuki ftw~ |

| Finally, KyoAni gives me something unpredictable by bringing Makoto back even if it were just for a couple of seconds. I really liked this episode and after seeing that scene with Ayu, it's really hard to hate her :P. Yes, this version is better than the Toei verson, but it's really not that hard to improve upon something that already came up rather than writing from scratch. Hey, wildebeest0001 remember the spoiler thing, even though it's been said many times, shhhhh they still don't know if she comes back or not ^_~. |

| Make it 6* :) Yeah, I felt the Makoto scene was a bit random? Like, "People want to see Makoto again, and we did leave it open that she could come back... I guess we'll have her pop up out of nowhere for 30 sec or so!" :P I don't really think he can end up with Ayu. Kinda obvious at this point that she's some kind of ghost or supernatural being... I mean, she died? O_o? |

| Was Ayu supposed to have died from falling off the tree? I thought she was just supposed to be badly hurt because I don't really know how you could forget something like that, unless if there's some supernatural reason why Yuuichi's memory is not intact. |

| damn that ayu bit was confusing she was portrayed as being paralyzed, and then on the same day he was leaving she gets better and he gives her the hairband... or somehow she lives, cuz i can't imagine her being a ghost because well akiko and everyone know of her existance... obviously the tree still plays a major significance... was he there when they cut the tree down, did they cut the tree down because she fell from it, cuz i see no other logical explanation behind cutting one tree in a forest... |

| This was the most epotional episode so far :/ Didn't really make me that sad though. So Ayu's an angel... Ghost/Angel same deal in the end :3 ...Actually, even without having watched Kanon(2003) nor having played the visual novel, I should had realized she was an angel instead... AND THAT'S WHY KIDS SHOULD NEVER CLIMB TREES. 2 more episodes to go, but the 23rd says it's the finale...Meh I'll see it today and watch 24 tomorow :D |

| gosh yuiichi's memory is sh*t LOL how can you forget when someone's dying in front of you? especially if you meet the same damn person 7 years later...this plot is too wacked out,but that's why i love kanon xD when yuiichi and nayuki were alone in that room i was so like please don't kiss or i will have to bring kanon down to 9 :p getting forward...the last minutes of the anime we're totally screwed up...so yuiichi wakes up remembering what happened to ayu 7 years ago,he takes the doll and her backpack and starts running to the forest??? wait what?why? and he sais something like i have to die in order to meet her and then randomly makoto appears and hugs him? ooookaaaay!? i will find out tomorrow night so i can wait :) anyway i still support my theory that this all is somehow a dream...there was too much dream hints through the anime... one last thing...if yuiichi dies that means that Nayuki is the last 'important' character alive? wow i did not ever thought that i will watch a show where everybody dies heh |

| Not really diggin' how this whole plot is unraveling. It's a good anime but it doesn't reach the awesomeness that Clannad is. Kanon hasn't even made me cry once throught the series. |
| So it's true Ayu fell from that tree.. It was alreay hinted at with the little Yuuichi saying Ayu should be carefull climbing that tree. Yuuichi has definitely suppressed all what has happened those seven years ago.. Makoto returns for a few seconds, now that wasn't expected though.. |

| I definitely wasnt prepared for Makoto...still, nice to see her again :-D I don't reckon it's all a dream, at least it's not Yuuichi's dream...if anything, the dream (if it is one) is viewed from Ayu's perspective, as hinted at in all those little preludes to episodes that stopped a while ago (see also the little 'dream' comment she made in ep 20). Finale next episode then...hope the 24th is an 'alternative world' show, maybe showing what would have happened had Yuuichi chosen one of the other routes (like Tomoyo and Kyou's eps in Clannad) rather than a recap like Air's last episode... |

| Poor Nayuki, I feel so sorry for her ;( Ayu died, expected that... Seems like Makoto appeared in the brink of Yuuichi's death just like the memory of him giving Ayu the present of the red hair band .. And the light, guess that is whats going to save Yuuichi... At least I hope so! |

| Definitely starting to improve. The emotion doesn't feel so forced anymore, and it's good that he's starting to remember. The thing with Ayu was kind of...I don't know...eh. So she's been dead this whole time? :l Marvelous, Yuuichi almost got it on with a specter. To be honest, in context, it really doesn't explain anything besides being kind of similar(in the form of an accident) to what happened to Akiko. Wait and see I guess. I'm kind of curious what "Key Magic" is going to happen, especially with Makoto coming back. I remember Clannad :P Still, good episode Can't wait to see how 23 and 24 pan out. |

| A very sad episode! This time it was wonderful expressed with this bit more extra time it really have enough time to develop a great bond with the viewer and really make it tear shedding especially the ending! Once more I cried when Ayu fell from the tree. With this version and the 2002Version it was amazingly good expressed and ow so sad! But Finally Yuuichi remembers what happened! The expression was epic expressed and when he run back to the place with the tree stump the scenery was beautiful created! And than the appearance of Makoto was something unexpected! But the end with the hairband was just to cute! |

| Everything started to really go downhill after Mai's arc. I am starting to lose a lot of love for this series. It's still good, just not what I want from Key. Could've been great if Maeda wrote the main scenario. |
