Well, this was kinda disturbing, really. More than last 50 years we are living in age where customer doesn't have the contact with all this butchering and where he takes some things for granted. I can't say I liked this episode but it was good nonetheless. One has to think long about all this killing and realize that meat is made of living beings rather than just product in supermarket. Realize how meat is processed. And that deer scene, it was.. not easy to watch - cause I just know for sure I wouldn't be able to do that.

5/5

An episode where I really had fun, and even a little excited, through the irony and the crudeness of reality. I would never slaughtered this animal, in short, in any way I try to avoid meat, primarily to avoid unnecessary spills and two because in the long run this will only hurt the planet, I hope that people understand that. Not that I do not eat your meat, I buy only very little. Returning to the episode, the design improves, compared to the past and are more cute and also the animation seems to follow the same path. Vote at the top, today!

Although the episode was not as entertaining, the value Hachiken took to cut the deer seemed fine. And the end, hit romance.

Very good episode! I really admire Hachiken for butchering the deer. Good analogy for everything we're doing in life basicaly, you need to overcome it if you want to be stronger/better.

And the whole episode was heartwarming. Great characters, beautiful OST and art, as well as great stories. What do you need more from Slice of Life anime?

ANd oh man, the last scene just killed me :D Best way to interupt romantic moment, is to kill a bear with the truck ahaha 10/10

what's the deal with Hachiken's family?

I really understand Hachiken's trouble with butchering livestock. He grew up in the city and not used to seeing or doing those kind of things. Damn it's gonna be real sad when Pork Bowl get's butchered. :( He looks just like Hawk!

OMG I can't stop laughing... and I feel so bad about it. It shouldn't be funny because animals are being killed left and right (even if it is anime) but still, it's just too damn funny, like what the actual fk (*≧▽≦)ノシ)) rofl

This anime is such an eye-opener...

I must say, I felt Hachiken there when he was butchering the deer. Like. the ultimate fear is before you peel off the skin, I bet. Once you do, it gradually gets easier. The blood really gets you off, but once you see the skinless part, you get more used to it then you can imagine you would do.
