| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I kust watched the first OVA, and I must say it's a great anime, far better than what I heard about it. You have basically everything you need from a SF/action series of the 80's, and with Mamoru Oshii's direction above all. After the end of this first episode, I really look forward to the second one and I hope it will be subbed one day. Apart from that I don't have so many solutions to watch it, the US release has one of the worst dubs ever and is cut, there probably won't be a new edition in the next 5 years, I don't understand Japanese that well (don't even know if a DVD has been released for this one), so I would be really grateful if a fansub team did the next 3 episodes out of pure compassion for the fans ;) |

| (Jacut, I am not surprised to see you here xD) Just watched the OAV, too bad only the first one was subbed, but I did watch the other ones in japanese. That's a shame there is no sub for them, and only a bad english-dubbed version. Concerning the first OAV, it gave me a good impression. I got Gundam vibes from it, maybe because it was made during the same period. And I liked the opening theme a lot. :D |

| I wonder if the population who have lived their lives on the Moon are still capable of returning to Earth with respects to the gravity they are experiencing. It seems like that every character native to the Moon that we have been introduced to thus far is a miner, which makes sense as that is the primary function for the society there, but there must be other jobs too. |

| While this is decent there isn't really anything world shatteringly different here. In fact this feels like countless other things released around the same time period. Also, I feel like the action sequences in this aren't very well done, there is really no sense of urgency in them. |

| Wow this gives me the nostalgia feels. All the corny sound effects that were a staple of the cartoons, anime or western, I grew up on in the 80's LOL This was surprisingly entertaining even with all the stereotyping in full force. |
| I like the music and the overall idea of the story seems good. But so far, nothing has made me really care about any of the characters or their struggles. |
