| I hope Moyes gets back into management over the summer, gotta salvage that tarnished name. I do like the guy. I think he could end up at Newcastle or West Ham type side. Although west Ham probably have a superior manager atm and Moyes wouldn't make a massive improvement to their style of play. If Norwich stay up I wonder if McNally would be interested to make a call, not that we could afford him. |

They deserved today's win anyway. It's incredibly disappointing to see Bayern completely fall apart at exactly the time of the season when it counts. I wouldn't say Dortmund park the bus, but they're still boring. Their fans and management make up for it, though. That's how a club should be run, unlike Real Madrid that splashes out on all of the best players instead of bringing in their own talent. Maybe I'm just biased against counterattacking sides like Madrid or Inter Milan under Mourinho, but give me Barca or Bayern under Pep any day of the week. BTW, aren't you a Madrid supporter? | Funny you point out those two specific games. How bout the barca v bayern game last year where the so called 'bus parkers' bayern hit 7 past barca over two legs. Barca were practically going backwards everytime they got the ball. Now that is not bus parking it's an effective way of rivalling the possession type of football. The biggest problem is that Bayern didn't really try to attack. They get to the penalty area, then they pass. They kept passing around until they lose possession at which point everyone has to run back to defend Real's counterattack. If they play like that, they'll be losing by a bigger margin on Tuesday. |
