Will there be a season 2?

i have recently watched this anime and figured out that the creator of this also made Onegai teacher and Onegai twins but what bothers me about Ano Natsu de Matteru is that it has a sad ending unlike hes other work with Onegai and the sequel i was just wondering if the creator would make season 2 by any chance i cant find any information on so if anybody knows anything about it i would appreciate it

I love the ending, I really did, I felt relieved how she came back so I could assure myself they're both happy ever and after :).
But the though that they were seperated was so... sad :'(.

Even though it was a happy ending I still felt "sad" because of the plot, but I was also happy.

I personally think that there won't be a season 2 because everything has been settled and it's a happy ending.
It would be cool if they add a season 2 though ;).

I wouldn't want a second season actually.. it had a happy and satisfying end.
If there really has a slim chance.. maybe an OVA but definitely not a new season.

It does not need any sequel or OVA. It ended perfectly. I do not want an OVA because usually OVA will be just a fan service episode.

I like anime.

Just finished watching this awesome show, and I could say I'm satisfied with the finale. It's a good ending and everything is settled. I don't think appending an afterstory or ova would do any good, if not worsen it.

I think this anime doesn't need another season or OVA. Cause at last episode, you feel really sad. But in the end it's a good ending. And everything is worked out perfectly. Why break it if it's already perfect.
