| I hate to be the party-pooper but I find this manga to be really boring. I know it's a parody manga but it is basically just one joke. The hero is invincible. So there is no excitement whether he loses or not and this manga tries to exploit that one joke but it is not even that funny because we have story arcs which get a lot of focus and the side characters are also pretty stereotypical which I guess is supposed to be part of the joke but they also come across as boring and we don't get much humor out of them. These jokes are also nothing new and I've heard all of them somewhere else before and I could see all of them coming before they were delivered. America has already parodied superheroes to unknown degrees so I guess Japanese people can find it more funny but it just comes as awkward and boring to me. On the plus side the art looks pretty neat even impressive, especially when drawing Genos, that guy can look when really cool when he's fighting. But even then the author for some reason keeps attempting to "slow-mo" the manga and I don't even get why. Is it supposed to create tension or something? It just makes the whole manga feel even slower and let me figure out the punchlines which I'm not supposed to figure out, just like in this chapter. I can see this manga work as a webcomic with it having a different pacing but this manga manages to suck all the little comedy it is offering and it really disappoints me, especially since I did have somewhat high expectations to find some quality comedy. I give this manga 5/10 (unlike some other users here I rank my manga 1-10 ) and I'm being merciful in hopes it will get better but it really needs to get better and I mean the art needs to look less awesome and more funny, more jokes are needed and the pacing in particular NEEDS to speed up. |

Basically the art needs to fuel the comedy, In One Punch-Man the art indicates something awesome is gonna happen but the results are always gonna be predictable so the manga shouldn't try to make it look more awesome and instead make the art less awesome and more funny which I admit is really difficult. But in comparison the art in Gintama and Beelzebub aren't what I would call first-class but you can still laugh your ass off simply from the character's expressions in addition to all the jokes it delivers. |

(And by the way, the awesome artwork is part of what makes it funny. The juxtaposition of amazing cool art and ridiculous non-suspenseful plot does breed humour.) Anyway, awesome chapter. |

| Just fucking fantastic. Beautiful colour, beautiful art, witty and quirky and actually deals with collateral damage. I love Saitama and Genos and want them to rule the world. |

| Eek, the acid is more traumatic in the manga than the anime but the girl looked more terrified in the anime. Poor Genos. :( Mumen Rider is my favorite. |
