| OMG I'm releaved now. Tomatsu Haruka, Ono Daisuke, Sakurai Takahiro, Mizuki Nana, FukuJun, Horie Yui and I could continue this lineup of the seiyuus whom I love in this. | At first I was bummed that Sugita isn't Sinbad but then I realized he's dinosaur bro and I burst out laughing. Going to be good. I liked Kaji as Oscar so I'm going to give him a chance with Ali. If he can't turn off that awful grainy thing in his voice I'm going to hate it though. Wasn't sure about Kimura as Judal at first but I think he he has the ability to turn up the fucking annoying to 100%. Just noticed the missed opportunity with Sinbad-Ono.D and Ja'far-Kamiyan... baw Extremely happy with all the Rens. |
| Man the animation (from what I've seen from the clips they showed during the announcement) for the show looks amazing. I am very happy about the casting, except for two. I can eventually get used to Kaji Yuki but from what I heard in those clips, Ishihara Kaori as Aladdin didn't sound good to me, it didn't give me the same feeling as I got when I read those lines in the manga. Alibaba: Kaji Yuki - I was also hoping for Mamo or Ryouhei but after watching the pv/event I can approve. I mean, some of his other roles aren't that terribly different. Also, I used to dislike his voice but somehow I grown to like it in the end. Morgiana: Tomatsu Haruka - Well, I approve. Sinbad: Ono Daisuke - Well well. I love Ono D so I can only celebrate this. BUT KAMIYAN WHERE ;;;;;; Judal: Kimura Ryohei - I feel this will make me want to make Judal cry more like Kise. Not only because he is not Kamiyan ;_; Ren Hakuei: Mizuki Nana - I like her and I think she has voice that could work with this pretty well. Sharrkan: Morikubo Showtaro - ...the only role I really connect him to in my memory is Okita so a bit unsure but it can work. | Now that the cast has been finalized.. Aladdin: Ishihara Kaori -Can't judge yet. Only heard her voice Suzuna. Though based on the trailer, I think the voice could be slightly less feminine-sounding. Morgiana: Tomatsu Haruka -THANK GOD it's not Aya Hirano. Anyhow, I only heard her voice Naruko. But I heard she's a very talented seiyuu (based on what some of you guys said) so I think I'll be happy with this choice. Alibaba: Kaji Yuki -Same as Aladdin. Only heard him voice as Walker. I know Alibaba is 18, but I didn't expect the voice to be as deep as in the trailer. If it was slightly less deep, then I would have been perfectly fine with it. Sinbad: Ono Daisuke -HUGE YES to this! I love Daisuke Ono and his voice. And I can definitely imagine him as Sinbad <3 I highly approve this! Ja'far: Sakurai Takahiro -Unexpected. Tbh I mostly find his voicing somewhat bland and lacking in "diversity" imo. Feels like I'm hearing the same exact voice/tone for most characters. Though he did a good job with few characters. Hopefully he'll do a good job with Jafar. Masrur: Hosoya Yoshimasa -Can't judge yet. Never heard him voice (except for the minor character in Kaichou wa Maid-Sama). Yamuraiha: Horie Yui -Unexpected, but interesting choice. This might work. Sharrkan: Morikubo Showtaro -Heard him voice Kadaj and Shikamaru. I can imagine him voicing Sharrkan. Hinahoho: Fujiwara Keiji -Okay. Ren Hakuryuu: Ono Kensho -Same as Masrur and Pisti. Ren Hakuei: Mizuki Nana -Highly approve this. If I heard her voicing only soft-spoken characters (and not other types of characters), I would have said otherwise. But I can definitely imagine Mizuki Nana voicing Hakuei. Ren Kougyoku: Hanazawa Kana -Works for me. At least I wouldnt have to hear Rie's typical tsundere voice. Li Seishun: Seto Asami -Same as Masrur, Pisti and Hakuryuu. Other than that, no comment. Judal: Kimura Ryohei -Only heard him voice Hinata. But I think this will work. Though it would have been fun to hear Kamiya Hiroshi voice him. Jamil: Suwabe Junichi -No comment. Kassim: Fukuyama Jun -Unexpected. Mixed feelings about this. Ugo: Morikawa Toshiyuki -Approve. I liked the voicing in the trailer. I am surprised they found seiyuu for the generals. I also thought they would stop at Balbadd arc (though few generals did show up occasionally during that arc). But anyhow, overall I'm alright with the choices. Few I'm unsure of. Few I highly approve. |

| Why's everyone hate KajiKaji? I think he was fit in that role. Yes, Mamoru might be better than him, but hey, he's not bad either. At least the producer didn't lying to us about the casts. I think I opened my heart to him when I watched some AoEx events and the Kami Voice movie which was so ... well it managed to entertain me. Eventually I warmed up to him. But really, when I think about it, Alibaba is that kind of baka blonde character that just screams Mamo. |

If not, I'm mostly indifferent for his others role but I really HATE how he voiced Amata in aquarion. The character himself is already annoying but somehow I felt that the way he voiced him made him even more annoying. But he's not bad as a seiyuu for most of the time, he's just annoying when he can. |
