| Talk about fun episode! I loved the way Katahira conducted, haha! Simply loved it. It was so... entertaining and fun, exactly the way he seemed too. But Chiaki winning was simply wonderful, and it wouldn't be fair if he lost at all. I wonder if he's going to meet Vieira-sensei now. I like how his relationship with Nodame is developing too. Conducting with the otaku baton? Simply awwww. This is why I love Nodame Cantabile. I agree that it felt somewhat rushed though. Starting the concour and ending in the same episode? I'm disappointed they didn't show his last piece, as well. But oh well. At least yes, the D joke was priceless. |
| I feel so much disappointed with the 2nd season so far.. All the drama and touchy feelings of the 1st season are cut. I've neither watched dorama nor read manga but the 2nd season is really rushy.. it feels like an action: one did this, another did that, bla bla bla, D, bla bla bla... no more good music... I'm really... really upset it has become so "easy-listening"... I'm fall for the ED though ^^ |
| I guess I see the reason now why this season is only 11 episodes. I can't believe they did all of the competition in one episode. Not that its a bad thing, just surprised. I'm now expecting this season to go pretty far into the manga. |

| Wow, it was surprising to see Chiaki make a mistake. I don't remember him doing one single thing wrong in the first season. I was overjoyed when he won as well, to the point of shouting "Woo! Go Chiaki! Yes!" I miss all the old characters, but I'm enjoying the second season so far. It's really nice to see movement in the performances as well. |

| The CGI looked a bit dodgy, especially the conductor animation :/ But good episode anyway. I was surprised it was all done in one episode, guess this is why this season is so short. |

| I take back what I said about the last episode, this season is back to the same level as the previous season. Of course the drama is better, I encourage everyone to watch it, but this is good to watch first. I watch the anime first and then the drama with my friend because I know the drama ruins the anime, but the anime doesn't ruin the drama. |

| The CGI looks quite odd, but it’s better than the still shots the first season had. It adds up to the liveliness of certain pieces, especially with Katahira’s conducting. It’s a shame they crammed all the competition on a sole episode, I wanted to watch the full performances, and of course, first and foremost, Chiaki’s. I was so happy when he won the first place~ The D-cup demon appears again! |

And I found Chiaki's ability to spot the bra size from that distance more impressive than the size itself :] Liking the second season very much so far. I just finished watching the first, and this one feels slightly different, but not worse. New, fresh scenes and people, but I feel really at home with the main characters, so I'd say there was no drop in quality or enjoyment. Relationship development seems promising, too. 8) Hope this season stays that good. |

| I was a little disappointed that it skipped right over Chiaki conducting that last Tchaikovsky piece. It seems kind of an important thing to leave out. But nevertheless, I love the original series and thus far I love the sequel. Gyabo~! ♥ |
| Lots of people are surprise shes a D. Last season she was considered the "D-Cup Demon" for an episode briefly (some where in the written annotations). But... D! |

| Yay! Good job Chiaki! :D I hope he see Viella soon, I'm sure it will be an emotive encounter, even for our tsundere Chiaki :P I would have loved to hear a bit of that Tchaikovsky though... Too bad, time to head to youtube! That hug at the end was cute :3 But damnit Chiaki, just stop being a tsundere and kiss her already! xD In the end he really used the anime lucky charm she gave him :) That other guy, Jean was pretty cool. And that other japanese was so fucking awesome with his way of directing his orchestra! :D If I'm not wrong, the glasses lady at the end is Stresemann secretary, right? Also, from the preview, it look like Stresemann will be back to harass Nodame even more, hell yeah ;) Anyway, that was a great episode. I fucking love Nodame Cantabile and classical music, that's what I learned from this anime. |

| Katahira's conducting style was so energetic. Jean seems like a nice character too but he should really lose that chick who always brags about him. I really wanted to hear Chiaki conduct his last piece. About the way this season handles the conducting and instrument animations...I personally like the panning and stills they did in the first season. It made you focus less on the screen and on the music. The stills and panning were drawn in a way that you could imagine the motions and energy in your head. |
