| I enjoyed the show, and I think it was one of the "fillers" that was more rewarding. Since Sonahara is usually the comical escape of the show. He showed a bit more of him and the way he relates to others. |

| It's honestly heartbreaking to watch Sunohara act like that. He's always been the butt of the joke (and a toilet seat cover!), so it makes his serious treatment all the more compelling. It was shown in season 1 that he really does care about Mei, but his infatuation with Sanae combined with his fear of reaching out to Mei is clouding his judgment. |

| Sunohara Arc is so far very good. I was told After Story is even better than the first series, and I was not disappointed so far. At all. It was both funny and clever by Tomoya to have a "date" with Mei, expecting Sunoharas reaction. Now I'm curios to see how it goes... ;) |

| Great animation, some of those emotions were just marvellous. Anyway, in the game Mei gave Okazaki a cheek kiss and that's why Sunohara was angry. Also the date was longer and she really stay overnight at his house (nothing happened, she just did dinner and they talked together). But even that they adapted it pretty well. Afterstory's storytelling seems to be one level higher than it was during first series. It looks like KyoAni really did learn from the experience. |

| I didn't expect this Sunohara arc, but it is funny. Although Sunohara really needs to grow up and be good to his little sister. I know he wants a girlfriend, but this is not an excuse to let his sister down. It's a little weird that he is 'dating' Nagisa-chan's mum right now too. I really wonder how sad After Story will get after watching this. I am bracing myself though... Oh Sunohara's "and a toilet seat" was gold! |

| Trying to solve a problem by adding more misunderstandings... what kind of writing is this? Honestly, I don't get this inconsistency with Sunohara's character. Especially considering that in S1, he was known for being super enthusiastic when it comes to help out others so now, I don't know what's with this sudden 180° turn in his personality... The same can be said about Mei as well. In S1, she barely paid any attention to his brother (even when it was obvious that Sunohara was eager to spend some time with her) and now, she's upset because he doesn't pay attention to her?... are we sure your brother is the only one at fault, Mei? Anyways, quite terrible episode in terms of narrative. |
| Should i finish this anime? I have just finished Clannad yesterday and i found it to be boring with a few scenes that were entertaining in my opinion. I only went through Clannad as i kept on hearing how it is worth watching Clannad in order to have a better experience in Afterstory. I'm already 3 episodes in and it just feels so boring. |
| ????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????????????????????????? I have no idea how to describe my thoughts with this show anymore. It's just too baffling. Why would Sanae continue going out with Sunohara if Mei already knows they aren't a couple? Why did Sunohara and Mei become distant over a relationship? Why would Okazaki want to bring Sunohara and Mei closer by being incredibly underhanded? Everyone in this series has been extremely out of character so far, especially Okazaki. Whether or not it was deliberate, he has sabotaged the only relationships Sunohara has had and has fostered this delusion that he has a chance at intimacy with Sanae. I thought the more comic scenes involving him and Sunohara were just an aspect of their friendship, but after seeing this episode it really makes it seem like it's the only part of their relationship. The first episode of this season gave me hope that it would be the one which changed my opinion about this series, but it has quickly become a thousand times worse than the original. At least the first series was consistent in how one-note and formulaic it was. At least the characters thought for a moment about how their actions could affect one another. It takes 5 seconds to explain all the misunderstandings that have taken place and even less time to avoid behaving like an idiot. |

| From fun to sadness, this episode couldn't have been more tough to bare, but here we are folks. I love the hilarious moments where Kyou, Ryou & Kotomi catches Tomoya in his act, and Mei acting so hard on the imouto trope. I want to remind myself that Mei's VA also voiced Rika from Higurashi, so a factor like that can be pretty deadly if you catch my drift. Anyways, this arc which turns out to be both for Youhei & Mei became full of lies. The question now is who is going to burst first from the facade. To conclude, I noticed how the shot compositions & backgrounds became much more detailed and beautiful now. KyoAni went up a notch after one year frmo the first season, let's hope for more. |
