| Kuroko no Basket LN should have its own entry here in MAL, though I don't know the details about it. I didn't even know it had an LN until recently. That said, those are pretty high sales for what I will guess are sidestories, the closest guess is it's about the Generation of Miracles. Time to hunt it down then. |

The explanation I hear most often is that the anime is covering the material that was not popular in the manga; the manga only got popular later, and it doesn't look like the anime is getting to that material, and it's bombing in pretty spectacular fashion. My bad, I didn't see it that way. As for the reason, that's pretty much it and Kumagawa's character played quite a big role, too. jmal said: Plus it's Gainax. | KHR is #3 with 277k sales. Not bad for this series wish Artland would bring it back for another season since I feel the manga is ending here in a few months unless Akira has more stuff up her sleeve after this arc. |

Still can't believe Bleach is still popular Every once and a while some things become super popular and their popularity lasts for years. It's not really hard to believe if you can put aside your personal feelings and not get tripped up because it is something you happen to not like. I don't like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings but their popularity at the time didn't cause me any disbelief. |
