Kuroko no Basket LN should have its own entry here in MAL, though I don't know the details about it. I didn't even know it had an LN until recently.
That said, those are pretty high sales for what I will guess are sidestories, the closest guess is it's about the Generation of Miracles. Time to hunt it down then.

Kuroshitsuji is selling pretty good, hope it can keep up the momentum.
1. Cloud Strife was not emo or stoic, it was the complete opposite.
2. FF7 is still the greatest game of all time.
3. Advent Children fucked up everything.

was kuroko's new volume even released recently? anyway, it doesn't matter. Stalker is predicting good sales for Kuroko's anime. Stlaker is estimating at least 9k.....might reach 10 if we're lucky. GO FUJOSHI!

Hell, yeah, Bleach. Keep selling well!
What are the light novels for Bleach? Where can I find the info for them?

Edit: Never mind, I was just too lazy. I found info about it on wikia.

nice to see Heavy Object at number 3, but aren't those sales a bit low? i hope it's a good volume and word of mouth makes its sales go higher next week.

Suffered in the sense of is performing very poorly despite having fairly popular source material. The explanation I hear most often is that the anime is covering the material that was not popular in the manga; the manga only got popular later, and it doesn't look like the anime is getting to that material, and it's bombing in pretty spectacular fashion.

Plus it's Gainax. Gainax hasn't had a real hit since Gurren Lagann. They're a cursed former shell of what they were.

I was watching it for about half a dozen episodes. It was okay, but okay wasn't good enough for such a good season, so I ended up dropping it to make time for other things.

My bad, I didn't see it that way. As for the reason, that's pretty much it and Kumagawa's character played quite a big role, too.

What about Evangelion (although I hate it), can it help them keep staying in the business without having a hit?

Yeah, I don't blame you but try episode 10 and 11 if you find some spare time, those episodes represent the real Medaka Box.

As far as I understand it, Rebuild is more of a Studio Khara (primary animation production studio, founded by Anno) project than Gainax (I usually see the latter referenced as "assistance"), though I'm sure Gainax makes plenty of money for their part in it, as well as all the ongoing merchandise sales. But overall, I'm not completely sure what the current status of the Evangelion rights are and who benefits most from what.

So I don't think Gainax themselves are about to go under. I'm just referencing their rather dismal track record with TV anime (in terms of sale) over the last 5 years or so.

It's pretty average, actually. Don't have high hopes on him.

And the author of this Bleach LN is Narita Ryohgo (DRRR!!, Baccano!), right? It can't be so bad.

KHR is #3 with 277k sales. Not bad for this series wish Artland would bring it back for another season since I feel the manga is ending here in a few months unless Akira has more stuff up her sleeve after this arc.

*1, 521,626 *,523,875 Bleach, Vol. 55

That's a pretty huge first week. It's more than the second week numbers for recent volumes:

*1, 204,333 *,474,084 Bleach vol.54
*1, 269,751 *,269,751 Bleach vol.54

*2, 188,928 *,437,357 Bleach vol.53
*2, 248,429 *,248,429 Bleach vol.53

*3, *86,695 *,486,948 Bleach vol.52
*1, 400,253 *,400,253 Bleach vol.52

*6, 104,191 *,504,537 Bleach vol.51
*4, 400,346 *,400,346 Bleach vol.51

Presumably vol.55's second week will be much smaller than the 100-200k the others got, but even so it's a large increase.

(Oh, and go go 200k for Hyouka, should only take 2 more weeks.)

I am going out on a limb and say that about 45k people in Japan read vol 180 last week. I know, I know it's hard to believe that the people who buy manga actually read them too.
